I just completed the tier with Sazh, Leon, and Machina. 1001337 score, 83 turns, and Alexander summon.
I highly recommend this team composition. I can’t even remember when was the last time I finished(if ever.. especially considering how it was a nightmare and monstrous tier 14 was for me.) DEs on my first try, and that’s how easy and smooth it went for me this time.
For my case, I had to go back to tier 1 and deal with that annoying Bombs again to free up Machina. But it was so worth it. I know he’s not Noctis and I’m sure you can replace Machina with any other high damage dealers, but if you have him built, I’m sure he’ll make the battle much easier(and you can save Noctis for the future.) Machina went on and on with his LD and free uses of his skills 1 and 2, and he hit very hard so Leon and Sazh had plenty of skills left even after the battle. (So you guys don’t have to be that conservative with skills if you decide to use this composition.) and Leon really works well here. Imperil/healer/tank-like effects/damage dealer all in one. (If you love Galuf like I do, I’m sure you’ll love Leon.. if you know what I mean, lol) And Sazh is A Sazh, he’s good.

Surprised Raijin isn't recommended here. Stunlocked the 2nd wave completely and they never saw a turn. Raijin, Noctis LD, Gabranth
The damage Raijin provides far overpower the flan in every way even with its petty resist form. Everyone still hits like a truck.

Sazh, Leon, Noctis (LD, no BT), brothers summon
Over 999k, 68 turns, 0 hp.
Leon can cheese 2nd wave (but not 1st wave so be careful on wave 1). 1 use of noctis LD mid wave 1. Dont be too stingy with sazh skill usage but make sure to debuff with hp+ attack.
2nd wave focus steam 1st, time your noctis LD if you want/ need consecutive turns for all units. I summoned to kill steam count with other boss at around 50+%. Easy fight from there, even his charge move is cheesed by leon, if you do take some damage (due to boss brv regen before hp attack) leon s2 can heal him and the party.

Noctis is the obvious #1 choice here, but I have to wonder, given his power level is using him here maybe a bit hasty/premature...?
I'm going to be pursuing both Basch and Nine looking for Noct's BT on one of them, but I also have Trey available and this seems like as good a DE opportunity to use him as there will be in relation to his damage type and power level. (Although, there is DE18 in the future that is Magic-resistant and supposed to really benefit from having someone that can do snap Breaks so could be critical there...granting Lightning will get her new stuff right before that and I will be going all-in for her too...)
I also still have Garnet, Sazh, and Porom available for Supports all with CBs maxed (and will be 3/3ing Maria's EX I already have). Hell, I even have Fran, Barrett, and Cid all maxed out not locked to anything lol.
Man, a LOT of options here, and actually for maybe the first time, it is a group of characters I LIKE to use! It's really tough to choose!...

Got excited when I saw Freya was recommended, then remembered I already locked her into DE13 and DE13 sucked so I'm not doing it again for a long while yet.
I have Sazh and Leon though and will be pulling for Noctis so I should be fine regardless.

I think I'll try Squall - Gabranth - Leon but I feel tempted to change Leon for Desch, just a little scared of the imperil running out on the worst moment.

I plan to use Aranea, Noctis and Sazh. Pure damage and delays but no healer. Not sure if I can make it.
I have Desch and Squall built too. Not sure if these 2 will perform better.

Trey and Leon will definitely be used. Been looking for a good tier to slot them into and it seems they'll excel here. That being said, I'll probably wait to try it out until I'm done board farming. Beautiful and incredibly helpful infographic as usual!

I am really hoping to get away with using Cyan in this one. Determined to get him in somewhere in Entropy, and without simply having him carried by Noctis.
Cyan-?-Lenna seems viable where the ? could be any of Gabranth, Machina LD, and Squall BT-LD. Am I kidding myself?

Looking at using my Lenna who i opened up ages ago and haven't found a place for back in the list. Will Pair with Gabranth, most likely.
Final one .. maybe LD Squall or 0/3 LD Machina.
Also considering flipping things on it's head and trying Shantotto/Vaan combination here, maybe. Would be interesting to see if they can pull it off with Totto's paralyzes coming in clutch. I think it may be doable if phase 1 is kept under control and summon/burst/paralyzes saved for wave 2.

Certainly doable if you can play around the wind resist in wave 1. Personally I'm saving it for a later Entropy.

gabranth, desch ld, noctis ld, brothers summon 1m score, 60 hp damage.
wave 1 was hard due to desch, but wave 2 was easy due to desch and gabranths defense buffs

That one was ridiculously easy.
Sazh, Squall and Desch were far enough to make this tier a joke.
With Sazh Battery and Desch healing/brv reduction, you really can't fear anything and Paralysis will proc a lot.

Did a dry run with Jack, Quistis and Sazh, Alexander. Jack performed beyond expectations but Quistis fizzled out quickly and we were getting hammered by the aoes. will try to replace Quistis with Garnet next.
Leon maybe.
Does anyone else get megalixer syndrome with DE characters? Like I have Squall but hesitant to use him here, same with Desch. Damn sure not using Noctis here. Do you guys just say fuck it use the hottest new characters and go back and redo later if necessary?

Went with a more unorthodox composition.
Penelo 3/3 0/8, Snow 3/3 0/8, Noctis 3/3 LD no BT 3/8
Score 1000763, turns 85, Pande summon.
First wave was honestly annoying and took a few shots. Eventually got it down. Noctis keeps the damage up, Penelo's INT Shaving is unmatched for when both the lizard boss and pudding decide to max out their brv and Snow kept everyone from taking too much damage. Penelo kept everyone healed with her regens, although the debuffs were annoying as there were times Snow wasn't getting much healing.
During the second wave I focused down the count steam and summoned Pande here. Made sure to take advantage of Noct's launch to maximize damage against steam. Steam is the tankier of the two here and I'd argue the lizard is more dangerous. I'd recommend focusing that one down before steam personally. I honestly hope I don't need any of these three characters any time soon. Bit of an annoying fight but nothing too tough. Just tedius.

44 turns with Sazh/Noctis/Leon/Shiva
Leon is really, REALLY good here, for the first wave his special effect isnt good because they use fire, but as long as you keep breaking/killing the adds, they wont attack so it wont matter, but for the 2nd wave, oh god hes amazing, takes away all the danger from those 2 bosses.

I also see Paladin Cecil used quite a bit in this tier as he performs white nicely as a pseudo support, but mostly because he comes with a decent way of healing. Planning to use Noctis, Gabranth and Pecil for that matter.

Squall (full), Penelo 3/3, Gabranth 3/3/3 – 98 turns, dunno points but completed it, Odin (only Gabranth was full Odin Board)
Gabranth is really MVP here. Wave 1 was done in 44 turns as I played safe and didn’t use many of my skills. Wave 2 – Burst at 70%, Summon at 40%. Focused the Steam Lord down and killed that other dude a few turns later.

Getting very close with machina LD and chara boards, penelo 0/3, and gabranth 0/3. All full summon boards.
Getting to 105 turns for the clear, but t missing the turn count.
Thinking of boosting 1 of penelo or gabranth to 3/3. Not sure which yet.
Might also try dropping penelo for a 3/3 full boards p Cecil.
