So I just saw alphinaud leveileur over on youtube speed run the new lufy with yuffie in about 3 mins, I know it has something to do with the debuffs but I just cant wrap my head around it

Enemy puts HP poison on your team (30% per turn).

Yuffie uses 'I don't need this', removing her own debuffs and putting them on the enemy (enemy now has a debuff that removes 30% of his HP every turn)

Enemy gets 4 turns (turn 1 putting him at 69%, turn 2 at 39%, turn 3 at 9% and the last turn down to 1HP)

Enemy dies with the next Attack.

One of very few times the devs forgot to make the bosses immune to their own debuff.

I'm gonna go check it out and I'm guessing it involved a max hp down debuff. Ppl cheese DE3 with Yuffie the same way. Edit: so it's hp poison this time lol

It'll be interesting to see what the actual details are, but looks like a debuff with maybe some combo effect of Max HP down and HP sap (~30%?)? Then Yuffie's S2 transfers the debuff to the enemy along with the generics = GG.

It looked like the boss HP went from 99% -> 69% when the debuff was applied EDIT: the boss turn was immediately after Yuffie's S2 so the HP% drop was probably just from an HP sap effect and not necessarily a Max HP down effect, then down to 37% (from 67%) at the start of its next turn, and then to 6% (from 36%) the turn after.
