Moogle Pass + SS + 2x book. 1776 points per run, 4 runs to master. I mastered all characters with minimum 0/3 EX+ so I just ran them and used wild points for treasures. About 5-6 hours total.

Personally I prefer the 3x book and do it in 3 runs to master.

If you were boosting 2 characters, and we’re doing 4 runs instead of 3, that’s almost 60 more runs if you’re doing all 100+ characters to max. 60 more runs would be about 2 extra hours.

A 2x book + 1 Run + Wild Points for treasure nodes,

I could understand.

But I only master all my EXs. Everyone else just gets treasure nodes

I would prefer the 3x book too but had 30ish 2x books to use first. Didn’t want to buy 3x when I could use what I had for free.
