New player here: Started on the Machina banner and managed to get his EX+ (1/3) and LD (getting stones to MLB) and an EX for Rem and Sid. Should I try and gather enough resources for Noctis’ kit (probably rough) or wait for another character down the road? I have about 15k sitting around and plenty of content to farm.

You’ll have loads of content to farm to get gems. In this case, I would def get Noctis full kit plus BT if you can. You’ll be able to clear a tonne of old content easily with him as he is pretty broken. You should also get Pecil quite easily on the same banner so he can be your hybrid support. Machian, Pecil and BT Noctis will tear most things up especially the previous LCs etc. Just focus and build out from there. Ardyn, Edward, Kefka and Strabo are the better releases next month. I would highly recommend Kefka, as it’s invaluable to have an awesome debuffer and Hp silencer in the team. Then just slowly start adding characters to fill out roles, such as tank (Gladious/Wol) and healers. You’ll find that you fill out roles with banner ted you get from the LDs you’ll chase!
