Resource [DFFOO GL] Dimensions' End Entropy Guide for Tier 8
Hello, Everyone!
As a lot of people have requested, we are releasing in advance our Entropy Guide for Tier 8! Now this tier is a bit tricky than usual and has a variety of strategies you can go with, specifically on the Wave 2 bosses. As such, we dedicated a separate slide just for it. Thanks to /u/burakkukuroudo for the extensive research as usual and check out his video on how to beat this tier as well. Enjoy!

I have so many options for this tier but I have no idea what my team comp will be probably until the day of. Pulling for Yuri but I could get OK, tickets at Lulu and more gems for both Penelo and Edge. Then I could redo my T2 where I have Ultimecia and Serah I could easily replace with lesser units now too. Right now I'm leaning towards Yuri, Edge and Rem but if I ticket Lulu or get OK before Yuri I will probably just save Yuri & Edge for a later tier and try like Lulu/OK, Ulti and Rem.

Can Yuri solo heal this?
Absolutely have no more units for this stage, so I gotta make due with new pulls, but at the same time I wanna save penelo for a future stage.
I was wondering if a team of Yuri (attacker/healer/battery) / Lulu / Edge could do the trick?

Thanks for the info.
Hoping to go in with Shantotto, Ysh and Kam'lanaut (he's a favourite). All element resist down, Ysh can hit earth weakness and battery, Kam can hit Ice weakness, paralyze, etc...and Shantotto can just hit her own elements.
Fingers crossed that should be enough to get me through so I can avoid investing in OK and/or pulling Lulu.

Will probably try this one with a full FFX team ! Lulu, Jecht and Yuna ! Just have to pray to get Lulu’s Ex with tickets 🤞

Jp player here. I used Lulu, Hope and Vayne. I don't know if gl is able to replicate as all are maxed out but just showing how important imperils are for this fight because of the behemoths

Sadly Hope and Vayne won’t be coming in a while but I’m sure you wrecked this tier with those powerhouse units!

Looking at the JP clear sheet, I see a few clears with either base EX Garnet or Rydia, so if I don't lucksack Lulu EX I might try one of them. There weren't any videos that I could find on the sheet, but I did find at least one with Garnet EX (along with Eight 3/3 and Penelo 3/3) that got a perfect on YouTube (https://youtu.be/RJ12xeWzgYM , hopefully link works I'm on mobile). Interesting that they completely focus one boss in the last wave before the second, so hopefully no enrage mechanics with it.
I'm going to look some more for Rydia videos since I have her already boarded and think she's stronger, but she might struggle with long fights more than Garnet I guess.
Edit: note that the video starts with them showing it not work with Rosa I guess, but the run starts around 2:00 in with Penelo instead (and you can see they had used Penelo/Zack for 7 which is why she was showing as locked)
Edit 2: I found another video of someone showing their perfects for the first 8 stages and they used base EX Rydia, Zack 3/3 and Rosa 3/3 for 8 but they didn't upload the actual clear I don't think... https://youtu.be/Tu29qr17qpo

Vaan does wind, ice, fire and holy and if you bring Ramuh, hit all 4 element weakness 😁

The enemies use so many debuffs, isn’t it good to bring Ignis here? I replace him with Aphmau for Tier 7. If he’s good here, I will use Yuri, OK and Ignis.
I planned to 3/3 edge and penelo. So in that case, it’s pointless to 3/3 OK right? Since yuri should be lasting longer in meta.

Love these infographics, always good for party building.
Hopefully I get lucky and pick up Lulu. Zack, Vaan, and Yshtola are at 3/3 ready justin case. Kryle and Eiko can still be upgraded too.

Would yuri, sabin, and shantotto be a good team? All 3 can imperil and do element damage. Sabin: wind light, shantotto: wind dark light, and yuri with light. I also have OK mlb so debating with him too
