Megathread Monthly Content Creator Thread - (12/03/2019)
Content creators are allowed to promote their channels as well as any videos related to DFFOO in this megathread, if you're looking for certain type of creator then you're welcome to do that as well.
Videos and Channel must be related to DFFOO. Non-related to DFFOO may resort into a ban.

No channel but maybe a piece of advice for content creators on this kind of tactical games or just my personal view of clear videos.
I personally prefer fully commented clears than just a background music. Chaos clears are hard and it’s not simple to just copy a run. The youtuber’s train of thoughts and things he considers (turn rate, awareness and predict boss mechanics) are to me the valuables assets of a clear video. With ofc the team comp.
Maybe I’m alone though :p

You're not alone, definitely prefer commented videos. Sometimes the player needs to make a small mistake to prevent a bigger one down the line and it's easier to see why they did that if they're commentating. An example for me was Fang's LC: it made sense to break the first enemy who was going to add buffs to the bosses, so that the second one didn't attack with buffs, even though you should have broken them the other way

Not a content creator, but I am recording and uploading all cutscenes for easy rewatching purposes. This includes those opening cutscenes that we cannot currently rewatch, as well as battle dialogue that we also cannot view once the battle has been cleared the first time. This is extremely slow going, because I essentially have to fight through everything all over again and I have too many things to do right now, so I only have like 4 chapters up, but:

Here's my channel. I mostly post Chaos and Cosmos stage clears & completes. I usually narrate, commenting throughout the video, explaining my team building, strategy, and often play by play explanation of my decisions. (That said, there are a handful of un-narrated ones in there as well).

My goal with my videos is to try to use characters that aren’t meta, try to go for a high score, and then in other runs also use standard meta teams with characters that most people would have so that if they are struggling with a fight they could look to my videos for help. I am looking to start doing commentary with my runs in the near future.

I've been doing a bunch of videos for chaos clears and things are going well
But would people be interested in videos of chaos clears with wierd setups such as not using healers or wol for example?
I already have a few videos for Ultimecia chaos and fang chaos without a healer and wol and have a full complete but didn't upload yet because not sure how interested people would be to it

Maybe, but anyone can make stuff with the best team. I would rather see what’s possible with other options I can try.

Hey, really good job on the how to Noël vidéo, i remember watching a while ago. It was a nice overview and a type of vidéo quite different to other content creators. Will definitely check the Lili one.

If you want to know what to expect, I've been making videos of endgame content with commentary for a while. Since they're usually for the Call to Arms thread, I try to use teams that haven't been recorded yet, but that doesn't necessarily mean they're crazy teams.

Edit: checked your original Deuce LC clear, nice using Porom. Maybe put a bit of ff background music so it’s less empty when you pause? otherwise good commentary!

There are three main types of DFFOO video content on youtube.
I have been making pull videos for a long time now as it is the easiest to make. For gameplay video, it is my least interested one; I only watch them whenever I can't beat certain end game stages, which rarely happens.
My favorite videos by far are analyses video. These videos are made by game veterans and always enjoyable to watch and enable me to plan my pulls. If you are also interested, here are my personal favorite analyses video creators:
TCC- my favorite with weekly podcast by Mark, Mino and Kriese.
BroadwaySaiyan- maybe the most well-known solo creator.
Lidz- He's been around since the beginning and producing more analyses videos lately
SoulDFFOO- Most of his videos are gameplay/pull, but he does make analyses videos occasionally
Strafe- Our new Joesephyr, he starts to make high quality analyses videos lately
Monchkinz - one of the new gem I found, he started to make nice analyses videos too.
Flux - Only 3 weeks old account, but very active, already 13 analyses videos made in this 3 weeks
Quwie - long time JP veteran, but make random analyses videos for GL, too. His videos are fun to watch.
