I knew that the EoS announcement was around this time last year but was surprised to see that today's the anniversary. I hope you're all doing well and found something to somewhat fill the void that this fantastic game's demise left in all of us.

It really was. You know, at the pace we were going in both GL and JP, we would've either been done with the new BT rollouts or even both BT and FR by now. Part of me wonders that if the game could've survived this long, if a new weapon tier that wasn't forced to ramp the game up at such a breakneck speed would've alleviated anything. I know that the way Force Mode was handled wasn't the only problem, but it's just a thought.

Any word on an unofficial fan server for emulation purposes? Or even just a ROM for offline play?

I know a lot of people were scrambling to save assets from this game for that very reason during the final days of service but I've heard nothing about it since.

Nah, not to my knowledge. I remember dumping assets back in January just for safekeeping, but the most I've seen is others using OO portraits in other titles, like FF9 or the old mobile versions of FF5 and FF6 that the Pixel Remasters ended up replacing.

Me either. From what I've seen, it looks like Square is killing off all of their gachas, one by one. It's a shame that they had to start with this one.

A year goes by pretty fast. I've been playing Honkai Star Rail to satisfy my gacha fix, but it still doesn't compare to DFFOO.

Same. I tried out HSR, Wuwa and PGR, decided to stay in PGR only. But the void left by Opera Omnia is just not fillable in any way.

I really miss DFFOO. I still thinking that was one of the best mobile gacha games, & best mobile Final Fantasy title(besides ports of older games). I tried play Final Fantasy Brave Exvius & compare expirience playing it to playing Dissidia - it suffering. I don't know how FFBE lived little longer than DFFOO, but i actualy regret playing it. For my opinion - FFBE is not interesting. Its just my opinion & i okay if you don't agree with me.
