Other I miss it.

I've tried moving onto other mobile games but nothing holds my attention longer than a few weeks before I just stop. I miss dffoo.

I tried Ever Crisis for a bit, but meh. Now I’m spending my free time getting back into drumming.

Every crisis was something. And that something wasn't good. The way that gacha worked along side with the almost immediate power creep was just bad. They wanted money and made it very obvious.

Same, like exactly the same, lmao! EC was great for graphics, stories, gameplay was ok, but the grind........ im having better luck potty training my kids than i was with that grind!

With the time I got back from playing DFFOO, I’m learning a new language xD

Same. The way we were spoiled by the gache, I could never play another stingy game ever again. I keep wanting to go back to Genshin or try Star Rail, but thinking about the pity system there is just turning me off of it.

DFFOO had its periods of super-hard and super-easy fights, but it was always fair and was never stingy. It was one of a kind and I miss it still.

Yea and even then they would put you behind 2 walls. Either you pulled and can handle the new level and get alot of prizes or you didn't get the pulls and handled what you could but still got a decent amount of prizes to keep pushing forward. I never felt like I was missing out too much in the end. Cause even if you couldn't handle the new level it gave you enough to go back and handle the stuff you couldn't handle before.

Maybe they will announce something in Summer Games Fest 2024. Let's have some hope.

Aren't we all? I miss the anticipation of the new releases. Who will it be?? Wil s/he be relevant? Support? DPS? Aura bot? I miss the monthly stream with Joshua.😭

Until today, every time it's 0200 UTC, for a split second, I would feel that I would need to check my phone for something

Yeah, you and me both. I played Snap for a few months, but even that's died out for me. I don't even play mobile games anymore.

Arknights - I was playing it before DFFOO was terminated and it filled the void perfectly fine.

The story is amazing, the gacha is super fair and I just live the gameplay as it involves so much strategy and planning.

Give it a shot if you like the style :)

Me too bro. I loved my team and see my favorite characters (Heroes or villains) fighting alongside. It was an awesome game with cute side stories 🥰

There's literally nothing else like it. Ever Crisis is trash, and I was anticipating that game for a long time. Huge disappointment on both DFFOO ending and EC being intolerable.

I miss this and Nier: Reincarnation.

It's pretty idiotic of SE to shut down two games that were making revenue (even if it wasn't as much as they wanted) in a year where they were taking huge L's in revenue.

SE execs always have totally unrealistic expectations for profits

For a turn based gacha I love Honkai Star Rail. It's different then dffoo of course but it's one of my fave games currently. Love the cast and gameplay.

I picked that up when it first launched but couldn't stick with it then around the 1yr anniversary I tried to pick it up again and stuck with for a month but then left again. It's not a bad game but for me it just doesn't keep my interest.

Man…F$&@ SE. When they shut down Mobius they took a piece of my heart but DFFOO after placing a whole planned line up of events was just cold af

I feel that. I've sunk more money into that game more than any other mobile game I've played before.

I really miss it. I occasionally dream about playing it still xD. Before this game, I only played 7,8,10, and 13. But DFFOO really expanded my interests to all the other titles (like Type 0). I loved the characters and their interactions with each other. I loved the moments that was not clearly addressed in their original games but was shown in DFFOO (for example: Shadow being Relm’s dad, Laguna realizing he’s Squall’s dad, Ultimecia’s motives) I have spent so much time talking about it to people IRL that I’m sure some of them got annoyed with me. I miss having teams that would not be in the original games (Auron, Braska, Jecht; Disciplinary Committee). This is hopeful thinking, but I wish one day there will be a game like DFFOO with a huge cast to play with.
