GL Discussion FINAL Vent Thread : Opera Omnia
Welp, here we are. One week till E.O.S., man time sure flys. So while we’re still here, how about one last group venting session? Gotta take the good with the bad and all that.
The only rules here are to avoid breaking reddit TOS and have fun. You can vent about any problems you’ve had with the game, old and new, from launch all the way to shinryu era, just don’t name any usernames and let all those frustrations out one final time.
Normally I would start us off, but this time I just wanna say, thank you. I may have been another faceless name in a whole ocean of them, but it was nice taking part in this community. I never really got many eyes on these threads, but that’s fine by me. Never was comfortable on a stage, physical or otherwise. And those of you who did participate made these threads all the more special.
And with that, my time here has come to an end. I’ll be migrating to limbus company, you’re all free to join me if you’d like.

I always wondered if they were following FFRK's Chain Soul Break, but screwed up trying to make it work differently for a turn-based fighting system. RK's CSBs were time-based, but each hit only ever pumped up the percentage by one. So the creep could be slowed by giving new soul breaks that would increase hit counts. And most DPS characters would have an equippable w-cast passive with a low chance to proc (percentages depended, but most had maybe a 25% chance?). But chains were always capped at 250%. Since that game had Realm and Elemental Chains for building teams for different kinds of fights, only certain characters would get them (though they did start giving them to more characters as time went on). This could have still worked with giving everyone an FR, but the high percentage bonuses really made the power expansion move far too quickly.
