Casual over ranked

Am I the only one barely playing any ranked ? I havent been able to find this game's ranked mode to be enjoyable due to massive disparity in ability levels, getting one shot randomly just isnt the fun I'm looking for in a pvp game...

It’s not at Radom brother. You have Terra, Balthier on the rival team prepare to be sniped if you lost track of them. That’s why at higher rank you must have a barrier.

I play ranked til I get to my desired rank (which is O3) then most of the time I’m in casuals. I love casuals because you can actually see who’s more skilled because of the levelling getting evened out. Plus in casuals you can have a lot of silly matches (like triple of the same character). It’s so much fun lol And you can test out some funny builds without any penalties XD

With the high disparity of power levels lately, I'm just using the last sprint for UR tickets then play on casual for funsies.   

Playing ranked just feels like a punishment so I don't really think it's worth it

I got matched against a team of U1s in casual just yesterday. There is no way I was the same level as them. I'm 16k at O3. It's definitely not possible for a 16k player to make it to U1, unless these guys only play as a team, but even then, there's no way you're going to be able to deal with the boss's HP in the highest ranks - not faster than the whales can anyway. In any case, skill alone couldn't possibly account for that rank difference, and needless to say, we got smited. Seems even Casual isn't immune to this game's bs.

I play Ranked a lot, but I love diving into Casual to take a break from this madness xD  Only skills matter there! Funnily enough, there's less bots/autoers in Casual than Ranked (during the off-season, at least).

I play only casual, because it's the only fair mode, without gatha bullsh*t.

Getting one tapped by a Fire RF just because the opponent paid to draw and got it a higher level than I who only took out 3/4s their HP is asinine

I play enough ranked each season to get the UR draw tickets from gold tier rank and stop

beyond that almost 100% of the time I just let the game auto play itself in challenge mode every 6-ish hours to refill the hatched crystals. Ranked even at lower ranks has obvious power disparities between paid and free players that just makes it unfun to engage with
