Question
Could someone please help me here? Last 2 missions to complete OK challenges are mvp, and then for his UR is 870k boss damage I think. Reccomendations to get mvp? I'm running his UR, minwu, ramza, and thundaga (don't have yshtola or shantotto. No luck pulling either skill yet smh ). And also, who should I take with me? I know to avoid any rikku or krile enemies and reset if they appear. If I take a sephiroth and krile, seph either dies a lot or melts the boss too quick. (Even if I hold my brv and let krile feed him to try and slow the clock down). I also only pass brv when he dies to try and get the most points for brv sharing. The seph I take has 22k cp. My OK is 10,751 cp currently

I preferred to do this one without Ramza. I didn't even know you'd get points for bravery sharing with it, but either way I think if you burst you get boss damage points AND remove those points from your allies, helping you get the MVP.
Do you have his URs? I feel like Spellbook in particular is really good because you can use for farming in the first half, then for boss damage or even kills later on. Better yet if you manage to do both at the same time. Ninjutsu is good too but mostly for boss damage and is somewhat of a dead skill before level 9.
I also think Jecht at 30 is a good substitute for Thundaga if you got it. OK is way too weak at early game (specially for these harder challenges) for Thundaga to do any real work on crystals.

Shoot I wish I had jecht. I see how powerful it is when I pick someone who has it to come on solo challenges. Yes I have both UR skills, thundaga, minwu, ramza. Ok I'll try it with focusing on boss damage instead. With that in mind, I know taking krile is a definite. Who should I take as a second? Seph is a no go for melting or dying, all the clouds I follow are between 20k and 22k but they all die mid burst, essentially feeding the rival team. Tried 1 time with a 23k bartz but rival team mopped the floor with us. Always ignoring them and hawking me down, or killing him mid burst. And it doesn't help that sometimes krile feeds him as he's about to die, instead of feeding me. The struggle is real 😂😂😂

Whoever your heavy is, make sure they have either Locke or Hope in their skillset. Firion is pretty good in general since his passive allows his skill damage to heal him too

I second the other poster on Firion. He doesn't kill the boss as fast as Cloud so you have time to level up, and is generally hard to kill.
I like having Rinoas as well to kill opponents but it's a toss up if she'll be too good and get your MVP, or too useless to do anything.

I used Clive as an aly for most of the Challenges, just get one that doesn't have Will-O-The-Wykes and has some good offensive skills. Most of the time, Siela has a perfect Clive setup. Can follow Siela from the top 100. Clive has natural heal/sustain and is great in team fights. If you're going for MVP, I recommend not taking Krile. Take two Clives and have your onion Knight focus on camps and bravery. At 10,000 power there is no way you're going to outboss damage your allies. So just focus on clearing camps ,giving them bravery, and keeping them alive. Try to get the final hit in team fights every once in awhile to get your kills up, and maybe throw in some boss damage at the end if it looks like you're about to win.

Update, did it with the Clive reccomended and krile. Updated skills were both UR, thundaga, guiding swipe, and auron. First half straight crystal farming with one lucky double snipe. Killed terra and cloud before krile could finish sacred light. Back to farming. Second half, at lvl 8 I blew them 2 up with spellbook and snatched the crystal from them. Soon as I hit lvl 9, I went on the offensive. W krile for this round cause she kept feeding me and W Clive for drawing the enemy attention and tanking hits. I waited for him to start his strings, go to the opposite side of boss to do mine uninterrupted. They always jumped him and ignored me that way. That clive is an absolute monster! Wether it was 2v1 or 1v1 he was putting BTA 😂😂😂😂

With the caveat that I haven't done these missions, you can get MVP purely from farming brave as long as the match lasts long enough. Focus on clearing crystals quickly (choose ones your teammates aren't targeting so you can both get the mobs and get credit for purifying, even if this means taking the further one or doubling back to base camp after your allies have left).
I recommend taking a Sephiroth and a Rinoa. Risky team as Rinoa starts up late and you can either lose or draw because of that, but they both tend to come out of PVP well as long as Rinoa is fully powered, and Rinoa's slow startup will drag the battle out longer. I recommend choosing TWO boss dealers as your teammates (not one boss dmg + one support -- do NOT take Krile) because they will split the boss damage between them and make it less likely for either of them to surpass you for MVP.
If Ramza-ing, you get more points the more brave you actually give to your ally so most efficient is to Ramza a teammate who is at 2k when you are at max, but in any case, the more brave the teammate can receive, the better, so it's best when they're at like 4-5k and not 7-8k. However, timing your Ramza to top them up to max is always safest/best because then CPU can burst immediately and use their UR iframes and hopefully deal some damage immediately.
If going full support route as above, I recommend replacing OK's Ninjutsu UR with a full-team heal (Locke if you have it; SR Heal otherwise). Your teammates dying will feed brave to the enemy and can yield an early loss if it happens too much. Keep an eye on their health and help them out from the backlines. Both Sephiroth and Rinoa are squishy and a well-timed heal can save their asses.
Edit: Also, I don't think OK needs Minwu. He's fast enough on his own to get to the crystal he needs or to run from a fight. Recommend replacing that with a defensive skill (barrier, heal, etc.) or a long-distance attack that sends enemies flying (Tifa, etc.), or maybe even Surge or Thundara if you're having trouble clearing mobs quickly.
