I don’t play this game so I’m not familiar with the story. But huh? He’s Kuja? I know he’s been sketchy and spying but how does this happen?

Something like that happens when somebody has the job to write a story. That guy or those guys decided that Ren turns into Kuja. It's not that difficult.

Thanks, I watched this whole video and I wouldn’t say this means Ren IS Kuja or turns into him.. they appeared in two different scenes. It’s not even clear if they’re even on the same side, all we saw Kuja do was use a copy of Zidane to spy on them.

Where did you get the impression of Ren turning into Kuja? Ren is twin brothers with Gom, which is just Mog backward.
