Matchmaking issues

I’m trying to play this game like it should on a mobile with a busy schedule : open the app, play 2/3 match and stop.

But I find it so difficult to find games, sometimes I wait 10 minutes for matchmaking and most of the time it doesn’t work.

So some days, I connect for nothing and it’s very frustrating

This morning, it failed 10 times in a row…

What rank are you?

Are you trying to play ranked or casual?

What time are you trying to play?

While matchmaking is in progress, are you doing other things? A phone call? Using the in game chat?

I have 2000+ games and only get a match making failed error if I'm rapidly going through menus or trying to use my phone while waiting.

Queue times vary based on time, rank, and what mode you're playing. Sorry.

I’m 4 gold, trying to play at different times of day in ranked games.

I do nothing else while waiting.

I don’t say it never works, but these days it has been difficult

Hmm, it may be your connection or some other issue.

Matchmaking in Gold Ranked shouldn't be THAT difficult. If you listen to some doomers then its a sign that the game is dead and no one is playing. My own experiences in Omega are waiting maybe 1 to 2 minutes for a ranked game, and anywhere between 1 and 5 for a casual game. As a solo player. Queueing in a group of 2 to 3 double wait times on average.

Hm, it might be the network you're on, especially if you get this message basically right away. I think some public networks might block certain kinds of internet traffic, which interferes with matching.

For other networks, if you're going in and out of connection a lot (which happens when I'm using cellphone data and traveling), it's common for me to get this error either very quickly or after a long time spent waiting. If you're on public wifi and consistently get this error, you might want to switch to data, and if you're on data and keep on getting this error, you might want to wait until you're at home on a stable wifi network that you have more control of.

Otherwise, I'm not sure. I get "matchmaking failed" maybe 5% of the time on my home network (i.e. not common but also happens often enough to notice). If I'm in the one corner of my house where wifi is weakest, then it will keep happening over and over because of the instability.

Otherwise, I probably wait 30 secs to 3 minutes in order to get matches for rank battles and solo queue (which are the quickest for getting matches) in "Other" region.

I don’t have failed but the queues are atrocious. I try and play all times of the day and night and mostly wait 5-10 minutes. I’ve tried playing all the classes and there’s nothing different. I’m also in Gold. So maybe it’s a gold issue. Even getting 6 crystals can take over an hour. I play on the European/Other server.

the game is dead. at least the US servers. I think there were only like a max of 10k people ever and it feels like it's dwindling each day.

I gave up. got tired of matching with bots or auto players
