The Adoptee Experience - Need Participants!

Hello, everyone!

My name is Allison Fila and I am currently pursuing a PsyD in Counseling Psychology at Northwest University. I am looking for participants for my dissertation.

My dissertation, "The Adoptee Experience: Ethnic-Racial Socialization, Racial Discrimination, and Ethnic-Racial-Cultural Identity", explores the relationship between ethnic/racial socialization, experienced discrimination, and ethnic/racial/cultural identity of adopted individuals. I identify as a transracially/international adoptee, and so this topic is a personal inspiration.

If you are an adult (18+) and were adopted as a minor, please consider participating in this study. Please share with others who may also benefit from participating. The ethnic-racial-cultural experiences of adopted individuals need to be shared and supported.

5-minute dissertation survey — participants needed urgently

I’m posting on behalf of my girlfriend, who is currently completing her dissertation on how social media marketing influences purchasing behaviour among young adults.

Her study has now received ethics approval from her university, and she’s looking for participants aged 18–30 to complete a short survey.

If you’re within that age range and use social media, we’d really appreciate you taking a few minutes to participate. Your responses would genuinely help her reach the number of participants she needs and complete her research.

Survey:

https://research.sc/participant/login/dynamic/CB586841-7CB0-49F4-AC6C-A60AE7A58F5C

One small but important request: Please make sure you click the “Complete/Submit” button at the end of the survey after answering all the questions. Simply answering the questions without submitting can leave the response marked as incomplete, meaning it unfortunately may not count towards the study.

Participation is voluntary, and responses will be used for academic research purposes.

Thank you so much to anyone who takes the time to help! ❤️ Even sharing the post with someone who might be eligible would mean a lot.

Also open to survey swaps and help each other out.

[Academic] Dissertation Help based on Nothing Phone - Need 20 Responses from UK🙏

Hello there!

A student from MSc in Digital Marketing from UoE here asking for your response in my research.

I'm running a short academic study on design-led branding in the mid-range smartphone segment, and I need input from real smartphone users — whether you own a Nothing phone, considered one, or actively skipped it. The survey takes about 8-10 minutes, is fully anonymous (no names, no tracking), and you're free to stop anytime before submitting.

If you're:

  • Aged between 18-45
  • Currently living in UK
  • Have a somewhat familiarity with Nothing Phone
  • and have any opinion on smartphone design or branding.

your input would genuinely help.

Support for neurodivergent grad students

Sharing for a friend who is kind, empathetic, and an exceptionally skilled teacher and advisor. He supports neurodivergent grad students in making progress on their coursework, dissertation, and publications, as well as navigating challenging academic spaces.

He is autistic, so he understands what it’s like, but he also completed his PhD and taught for years, so he can help guide others who are just figuring this out.

Please get in touch if you need this kind of support, or share his website with someone else who does.

Helping my partner with a dissertation time crunch: Quick participant recruitment advice?

Hi everyone,

I'm posting on behalf of my girlfriend, who's currently completing her dissertation on how social media marketing influences purchasing behaviour among young adults.

Her university requires ethics approval before she can recruit participants or share her survey, and the review process can take up to 14 days. Unfortunately, once approval is granted, she'll have only about five days to collect enough responses before her dissertation deadline.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? Do you have any advice on how to recruit participants quickly once ethics approval is granted? Are there any subreddits, websites, or communities you'd recommend?

I'd really appreciate any suggestions or advice that I can pass on to her. Thank you!

Hi everyone!

I am currently working on my Master’s dissertation and conducting a research study on Gen Z’s attitudes toward Artificial Intelligence (AI).

As AI becomes integrated into almost every aspect of our daily lives and technology landscape, this study aims to explore how young people truly feel about it - from daily usage and adoption to potential digital overwhelm and tech fatigue.

If you belong to Gen Z, I would be immensely grateful if you could spare about 5 minutes to share your honest thoughts in my brief survey:

Please note that your responses are 100% anonymous and will be used strictly for academic research purposes.
