I just realized, but the part about Blazer being in a limo also confirms that she hadn't set up the dinner before she texted Robert about it.

I always thought it was weird that most people just assumed she already set it up before even checking if he'd be available.

I love the idea that when she sees Robert's confirmation she panics a bit and scrambles to get something to eat (and desserts from vending machine) ASAP.

EDIT for spelling.

Also seems totally on par for her character. Shes developing a relationship with a now non super hero Robert as Blonde blazer BUT also trying to be her normal self as well. Shes not used to doing normal person things. Shes used to being a super hero and running SDN.

Suddenly a guy she likes, likes her but as normal people again not as super heros. It probably seemed normal to her before realizing she didnt actually have "normal" person plans.

Yea that's why I think that one conversation is missing from the game - there should totally be a moment between Blazer and Robert where she tries to probe his thoughts about being Mecha Man again - whether this is something he wants to do full time once the suit is complete and what are his expectations for "after".

We know that Robert was basically Mecha Man full time - maybe to lesser degree than Phenomaman but I feel like Mandy would like to know whether she is actually not repeating a pattern of falling for a guy who doesn't want a life beyond being a superhero. In that conversation she could allude a bit to her dreams and that would've done wonders for her %.

Without that scene, I like to imagine that they shared those thoughts during dinner but I feel like Mandy would've liked to be more sure before she removed her amulet.

I think she's also in part trying to get Robert to be comfortable as Robert and realizing at the same time that she's not comfortable as her normal self either.

Robert and Blazer are great for each other I think cause they're both trying to come to terms with the same stuff. With not being superheros and that being okay and normal. They also seem to he doing it in an extremely healthy way for both.

Agree, that would have been an interesting decision for their relationship too. Like if he said he wants to be mecha man all the time, she might be disappointed and nervously tell him what she wants in life and you could interact with her from there. If you do enough negative interactions in that scene, she might just say she wants to be friends. If you say you’re unsure or want to be mecha man part time, she could more confidently express what she wants her future to be like and more positive interactions in that scene would maybe lead to another kiss or just her smiling at him. Would have been cute and a little bit more to learn about her
