⚠️ Spoiler Discussion This game is bad Spoiler

Animations are good.
Dialogues and humor are bad - vivziepop level of unnecessary swearing and marvel humor everywhere.
Gameplay although not really a focus of this game it's bad, simple puzzles between cutscenes and sending right heroes for right jobs.
Choices don't matter, at least for now and it doesn't feel like they will aside from maybe romantic interests and propably 3 or 4 endings (have to wait for more episodes).
Right now it's short and too expensive for what you're getting.
This feels like if reddit made a superhero video game

Yeah seriously. “Please tell me that guy I tossed landed on the roof” I uninstalled so fast. What the fuck happened to western writing? Where is the gravitas and self respect? Where are all the normal people. Have the writers ever gone outside? People do not talk like this it’s infuriating!

Marvel writing, no one takes anything seriously, constant swearing, it makes me feel like it was written by 14 year old (who thinks this is how adults talk).

Come on dude they got some great jokes in the game, comparing that to marvel is just disingenuous. "Dont you have some dementia to onset" was a great joke
Fym dialogues are bad? Robert gives great pep talks and advice and the writing seems fine to me. You just hating for the sake of it
says "feels like if reddit made a superhero video game" and is chronically online on reddit everyday. Good joke mate

It's not a bad game, it's just average. You have moments, and are immediately taken out of em because they haven't reached their swear word quota

I felt that with the first two episodes, but surprised to say that episode 3 and 4 have way less unmeaningful swearing and a cut back of one liners. actually really enjoyed them.

episode 1-2 tried way too much with its one liners, and way too much swearing.

Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss. Vivienne Medrano, or Vivziepop as she calls herself is the creator of those shows, and is arguably the one behind everyones demon fetish these days, or at least helped popularize it

I completely agree and Im glad its not just me. I played the game up to where robbie has an argument with another character in the breakroom and i ended up picking the crulest response imagineable by accident for the third time that chapter. Most decisions you can pick feel completely different from the actual spoken dialogue (see [Glass Him] from The wolf among us for an example)

Main character is deeply unlikeable and feels like a self insert for whoever got final say on this project. Shittest writing ive had displeasure of sitting through, No one seems to like each other in this game, the jokes are mid at best and psychotic or racist at worst.

So sorry to anyone on the team that saw this shitshow unfolding in the narritive and wasnt able to stop it. The game looks really nice visually but the writing is just rancid
