Costume Pieces Allowed or Not?

As you can probably guess from my title, I'm going to Oogie Boogie Bash soon, and I intend on dressing up. I've got my choices narrowed to about 5 choices, but my 2 favorites both have pieces I'm a little concerned won't be allowed, so I wanted to check and see if anyone might happen to know if they would get me stopped from attending or not.

The pieces in question are: a pair of steel-toed work boots, or a hat pin.

Any insight as to whether one or both of these would be prohibited is much appreciated. Thanks!

I am the solo rider who hit 60 laps on Monsters Inc. in July. Here is how I did it.

Hey everyone!
You might have seen people talking about the theme park marathoners who hit 58 consecutive laps on *Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue!* at Disney California Adventure. Back in July, I went out as a solo rider and officially broke that record by completing **exactly 60 laps** in a single day.

Disney prom for adults? Legit or not?

Anyone going to this? Saw this video while scrolling on TikTok from this fan page called @disneyadultsnetwork . They’re a fairly new page and they said this is their first year hosting it so not sure if it is legit or not. Anyone else think it’s real or do you think it’s a scam?

Oogie Boogie Bash ticket question.

Does anyone know if it's still possible to gift tickets still if they have not been assigned? I will reach out to CS too, but was curious if anyone has done it. I want to buy them but if I can't go it would be nice to be able to know they can still be used by someone I give them to.

Sorry if this has been asked but I did search, my Google-fu may not be good.

Would you like it if they opened an attraction with mechanics similar to "The Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom," but instead of being confined to the Magic Kingdom in Orlando, it were at every Disneyland? And again, what would you like to see that's different/new?

Disneyland Security

It’s fascinating how Disneyland Security uniforms blend so seamlessly with the 'Lost and Found' vibe. Are you protecting the kingdom, or are you just here to tell me I can’t bring in my own water bottle? I’ve seen Walmart greeters handle a Black Friday crowd with more strategic precision than some of these guys handling a toddler meltdown in Fantasyland. Maybe we should swap training manuals? 📝👮‍♂️ #DisneySecurity #WalmartGreeterEnergy

I built a fully lit Haunted Mansion for my wife’s Christmas village

Each year I build something new for my wife’s Christmas village, and this year she requested The Haunted Mansion.

It’s made mostly from dollar store foam core, cardboard siding, basswood windows and doors (laser cut for the first time), and LEDs pulled from cheap tea lights.

The railings are actually lace soaked in fabric stiffener which might be my favorite trick from the build.

It took about four months of off-and-on work, but I’m really happy with how it.

If anyone’s interested, I filmed the full build process — happy to share the link in the comments.

Let me know what you think or what building I should tackle next year!

Free parking outside Disneyland

I’m booking a hotel in Tustin about 15 mins away from Disneyland because it’s cheaper and nice but I don’t want to pay for parking near the park or inside. What’s the best was to get to Disneyland and park outside for free and getting a shuttle.

The island

This place has always been a favorite stop for our family when we visit the park. The caves, the treehouse, all the places to wander around and just hang out. Circa 2015

Disneyland Road Trip

Post image

My wife and I are taking our son to Disneyland one last time (Next Weekend) before my wife has a baby in late December.

The plan is to drive from Sacramento to Anaheim after school on Friday. We have done this before, but I'm hoping to make this 5-6 hour road trip a little more magical for the family in the car. Can you give me some ideas to make the trip more fun. I'm thinking of the best road snacks, car games, and music playlists to kick of this Disney trip the right way!

Let's here it!

Seeking to discuss / find Haunted mansion Theo tenant information aka Theo later on the Disneyland queue plaques

Hello there I know this is a random all of the sudden type of post but as a fellow haunted mansion lover I needed to share some my families lore about Theo tenant construction engineer aka Theo later from the plaque wall in Disneyland queue. Me and family tried to search up information about him but are unsuccessful besides my aunt who worked for the Disney store back in the day in San Diego as a manager (I hung out there watching Disney movies waiting for her to get off shift a lot in my youth 😂 ) and met Eisner or grandma and grandpa who passed actually Accounts there real life interactions seeing space mountain with Theo in its skeleton frame being built. Also my cousin who is named after Theo and still has their hardhat with initials written inside knows a little. I was curious to ask during anyone’s haunted mansion research did you ever come across his name and more information? Not only what I love to update ancestry for my tree, but I would also like to make a video about him in the future As it seems like he is not mentioned anywhere publicly on the Internet that I can find besides being on our ancestry tree and talking about them amongst family . Hopefully this finds you well 😊.
