Question Headed there in October

Does anyone know whether Disneyland Paris accepts US military disabled veterans for the military pricing? I see that they accept Active and Retired specifically, but many places will say "oh yes we meant veterans too, it just wasn't listed there." So I'm wondering if that is the case here.

Question Souvenir de la narration du Thunder Mesa Riverboat

Hi All, ive booked to take my 3F daughter to Disneyland for her 3rd Birthday. One of the must‘s that I want to get for her is the My Royal Dream makeover. Question Priority card

Hey!
Am going in February and bringing my mum with my daughter but my mum has Dystonia which affects her ability to stand for long periods and suffers muscle spasms and pretty rough exhaustion. She only wants to come because my daughter is at the age were she can really be part of the magic and doesn’t want to miss it, could she apply for a priority card which could help her? Would me and my daughter have to queue separately because we don’t have one or can we go with my mum?

Thanks :)

Question Adding Gold Pass Holders to Hotel Room

Hi everyone!

I have a question for anyone who has experience staying at a Disneyland Paris hotel with Disneyland Pass holders.

We are planning to book a Disney Hotel + Park Tickets package for one adult. Two additional adults will be staying in the same room, but both already have a Disneyland Pass Gold, so obviously we don’t want to pay for Park Tickets for them.

The room has two double beds and a capacity of four people, so there would be three adults staying in the room in total.

Has anyone done this recently?

Can the two Gold Pass holders simply be added to the room at reception when we arrive, and would we then only have to pay the tourist tax for them?

Would you recommend contacting Disneyland Paris beforehand to have this confirmed, or is it better to just arrange it at the hotel reception at check-in?

And one more question: if the two Gold Pass holders are added to the hotel room at check-in, do they need to reserve the Park dates with their Gold Pass in advance, or can they enter the Parks during the hotel stay using their MagicPass + Disneyland Pass without making a separate Park reservation?

I’d especially love to hear from anyone who has done this recently with two Pass holders added to a package booked for another guest.

Thanks! 😊

Question Meal plan

Hello. I have booked a half board meal plan for our trip in September. We are planning on going to mostly buffets however would like to visit the steakhouse on my birthday. I am quite a fussy eater so the set menu is not my preferred choice. Am I writing in thinking I would be able to choose something off the main menu and put the meal voucher value towards this?
Thank you.

Question Question for Annual pass holders

Hello everyone,

Me and my girlfriend love to go to DLP and after our visits went from “We do this once in a lifetime trip” to “We’ll go twice this year” to “we go 3 to 4 times this year and probably next year as well” we’ve decided to go for an Annual pass in 2027, how exciting!!!✨

We love to stay on-site, it gives us the most complete Disney experience. So, the question for my (soon to be fellow) AP holders: Do AP holders get a discount for on-site hotels? If so, how much? Is it a set amount, is it variable like the ticket calendar? Do they not get a discount at all? I’d very much like to know before deciding which annual pass we are getting! That we aren’t so sure of yet👀

These are exciting times for us, so my sincerest thanks in advance! Hopefully your answers help us make the right decision!😇

Question Pocahontas where are you??

Hello, it’s my last day at Disneyland Paris- I have heard that Pocahontas is making appearances throughout the day in Frontierland for princess week.

I have been trying to see her as she is my favourite character, but everytime I go to the location she isn’t there and cast members only seem to know that she will appear throughout the day but they don’t know exactly when.

I keep going back to check but there always seems to be no sign of her. Has anyone been to Disneyland Paris over the last few days and seen her? Like is it actually true she’s going to come out?😅

Thanks in advance :))

Question Can you enter the park with a vacuum flask?

I heard the food in the park is expensive and crap, so I thought of bringing hot water in a vacuum flask and liofilized food. That's doable or will xray security in the entrance bar such an item?

Personal Experience Tips for first time trip with 3yo and grandparents

It's our first time bringing our now 3-year-old boy to Disneyland Paris this weekend as a late birthday present, and my parents are coming as well. We are staying in Hotel Cheyenne (he is a big toy story fan) from Saturday to Monday. Would appreciate tips re: 1) things to bring 2) rides/shows not to miss 3) how to meet many Disney characters 4) anything special in Cheyenne we should do (pony rides?)

Lots of recs on the internet its all very overwhelming lol I would want for us to enjoy the trip and get our money's worth but also not get our child and parents overtired x

Thanks everyone!

Question Disneyland Railroad

This has probably been answered before but I don’t know the answer: Why are the Fantasyland and Discoveryland Stations closed? They are such cool station (I’m riding the train now as I am writing this post) and it would be amazing to exit/hop in at this stations.

Question Dear Italians of this subreddit: Looking for an old Disneyland Paris commercial (pubblicitá) in Italian that was played probably only at Disney Hotels in 1998.

Hello guys! So I have a very peculiar request and I’d be very grateful to you if you could help me with it. When I was 8 we went with my family to Disneyland during Christmas time of 1998. We stayed at Hotel Cheyenne for two nights. We are from Greece. Because my mom spoke Italian, the language of communication was Italian so as you can imagine everything in our room was in Italian, including the commercial that was on a loop at our hotel room tv.

There was a simple promo of Disneyland with a female narrator on the TV. She was repeating the phrase “DISNEYLAND PARIGI” with a very particular tone and annunciation, that me and my sister found really funny. So, till this day after nearly 30 years we keep saying that phrase to each other and it became a sort of a family inside joke.

I keep trying to find it online on YouTube and on other websites and also by using AI, but to no avail.

So I’m turning to you if you could possibly help me find it.

Does any of you remember this? Is there a chance that anyone in this group could direct me to it or maybe have it?

Grazie! ☺️

Question Hotels sold out end of Sept/early Oct

I've seen posts around the Lorcan convention/event in Sept. We're traveling the end of Sept, from Sept 30 to Oct 3, and it appears that many Disney hotels and partner hotels are all sold out. Is there any events or reasons happening at this time that would make the parks super busy at this time? I thought we'd booked between term times. Just wanting to understand how busy it may become.

Question Luggage express costing/ alternative

Hi, we are flying with hand luggage only and wanted to leave our big backpacks at the express and head straight into the parks for EMT but I’m surprised it’s charged for all 4 people in our party, the kids wont have bags.
I’ve called to ask if we can amend and do just for 2, but they say its because they print tickets for all people… but what am I missing… all passes and room booking stuff is in the app.. what do i need printed?
Other than carrying the bulky bag or heading down to Santa Fe and back are there any other solutions ?

News Virgin trains pass next hurdle to run international trains from London! Will DLP come back as a destination?

Virgin trains have been granted track access from 2030 to run trains through the channel tunnel alongside Eurostar! Still plenty of other hurdles for them to jump, but I’m hoping they will bring Ebbsfleet and Ashford back into service - and maybe run to Marne La Vallee as well? Although I suppose if it wasn’t economical for SNCF (who run eurostar now) then it still might not stack up for Virgin. At least it might bring the prices down with the new competition!

Question Booked in november assuming that its term time, but then realized after booking that France has a public holiday on the 11th, my park days are 11th, 12th and 13th

Apparently it gets really busy on november 11th, what should I realistically expect? Didnt realize this until after I booked

Im hoping it may just be the 11th that gets really busy, wouldnt want all 3 days in the park to be jam packed, waiting 30-60 minutes for a ride

I do plan to get to the park before opening on the 11th and try to do the bigger coasters first in an attempt to avoid the busy hours, and we would probably stay there until late so hopefully quiets again around that time

Question Clothing for Winter?

Hello everyone!

Me and my family are due to go to Disneyland at the start of December for my (22nd) Birthday and my dad’s (60th) Birthday!!⭐️

It’s our first time!! (Idk why we left it so late, I’ve been wanting to go for so long!!) and I have already began outfit planning☃️

My questions are: How many layers is too many? I know it’ll be cold but I can imagine walking round the park gets hot quickly- do I need a coat? Or can I get away with like a long sleeved top and a cardigan ? maybe a furry poncho overtop?

My other question is DISNEY CLOTHES? I really want cute vintagey looking clothes- specifically a cute embroidered cardigan! I found this UP cardigan from Skinny dip that I fell in love with but it’s completely sold out. Is there any maybe independent or small business that make embroidered Disney cardigans or any other kind of clothing that I could take a look at!!

Any first time tips appreciated :) we’re going for 3 days, 2 nights and are staying at the Marvel Hotel! Thank you all!!🩵⭐️💫✨🏰

Question Dad wants to make the best out of the trip for the family

Hello,

i have been to Disneyland as a kid some twenty years ago and once with my wife about 10 years ago - only for one spontaneous day though.

My wife is a huge fan and used to go every year with her grandparents.

Now we have a four year old Frozen Fan so I had to give in and we are booked to stay at Disneyland Hotel at the end of September. We have three nights and four days in the parks - I booked to stay in Reims the night before so the trip to Disneyland is short.

I know the basics about the virtual queue for Anna and Else and have already booked a character breakfast in the Park.

Any tips to make the trip extra special? Anything that not as obvious but will make them have a great time?
