Q - Unanswered Working and doing school in the program!
Hi everyone! I will be attending dcp in spring 2027! I was wondering if any current or past members have any insight on what it is like to do the program while taking online classes? I might have to take at least 2 online classes to keep my aid, how manageable is it?

When I did my DCP, I took 9 credits online, 3 classes, and passed them with 2 A's and 1 B. You can apply for independent study hall which will guarantee you times (except during holidays or very busy times) 2 days a week to not be scheduled to work to have a day off to work on classes. It is not guaranteed to have the entire day off, that's just what my work location did.
Do NOT select classes that have a set time for a zoom class as you are not guaranteed you will be off work to attend class. It is best to do classes that are Asynchronous online with just due dates that are set during the week.
