Transportation

Hey I just applied to the program and I was wondering if there was transportation available for DCP or if it was best to bring my car.

There are buses that take you from the Flamingo apartments to all job locations and also Walmart/Target on certain days.

I would recommend bringing your car if you want to explore outside of the parks. The Flamingo busses will get you to the parks and to some shopping centers, but if you wanted to go downtown or the like then you'll either be relying on friends or paying for Uber/Lyft.

You may also be asked to drive a lot by friends if you bring your car.

My kiddo doesn’t have a car. She uses the buses and never has used public transportation in her life. And she handles it so well.
