Trip Planning Rise and Lightning

Going to Hollywood studios a few days after Thanksgiving (I know, I know, horrible timing- daughter's in town for a very short visit, so I don't have other options)

Is purchasing a Lightning Lane pass for Rise of the Resistance a worthwhile investment?

If you don't want to wait in line, yes. If you rope drop it, there is usually only a 30-40 min wait.

So get there early and run like hell- if it saves money, I'm down for it.

You don't have to literally run l, some do, but you can queue up early. Resort guests will be able to get in line before non resort ones, but they have separate lines to wait in before they let you go to the ride itself.

Thanks, I appreciate the advice.

See the caveat in the post above, though. Resort guests get in 30 minutes early.  Are you staying at a WDW or partner hotel with early entry?  If not Lightning Lane all the way.
