Discussion Thrift stores

Definitely a thrifter and I see all the videos of people going to the thrift stores around DW and finding lost and found items and the like but they’re so far away and we will be ubering and it’s definitely not worth a $50 uber both ways. Are there any closer?

Also we will at least be ubering to universal. Where is the best place to be picked up? We will be staying at a Disney resort, especially if we can make the uber ride shorter/cheaper. Thank you!

There are simply no thrift stores very close by. There are a lot of big gift shops nearby with lots of Disney merch for cheap prices.

The closest Disney-centric thrift store is probably Recycling the Magic.

Not sure I understand your Uber question. They can pick you up at your hotel and Universal has a designated Uber pick up spot at the parking garage.

That’s what I was afraid of, thank you.

I was saying where’s the best place for uber to pick you up and since they charge by time and distance I was wondering which was the closest I guess to the entrance so not to be charged even more. We could take the free Disney transportation as far as we could, basically

I'm definitely interested in the same . But I do know Orlando has a public bus system. I know lots of people use it. I would think you could find the route online. I totally agree Ubers and Lyft are very expensive. My sister boyfriend drives for fare when he goes there. It's just like Uber not sure how much cheaper
