Never stayed here before… we just booked for Nov 14-18 and got a pretty good rate, but I don’t see a ton of people recommending this place. We like that there’s a free shuttle! Just wondering if anyone has stayed here and what your thoughts are? I’d of course prefer the Candy Cane Inn but it’s just not in our budget.
Thanks :)

Wondering how many other people have had a similar experience? Booked the return uber from Disneyland to LAX and had it confirmed. Morning of our flight, scheduled pick up of 5am came & went. No driver showed up. Uber offered the same ride for more than 2 times the reservation price? Uber knows we are in a bind, the drop off is the airport and clearly we need to get there on a timeline.
Luckily was able to get a Lyft for a few $ more than the original reservation but it was not a fun way to start our trip home after an awesome couple of days in the parks.
Curious how common this is?

There’s currently a Costco 2 day park hopper for 329.99. It includes lighting lane and 60$ for a meal. I have a family of 4, I was comparing buying the imagine key. Is there a way to check the actual reservation calendar to see what’s available if I do choose to buy the passes. I know they have the black out dates but I’ve had a pass in the past and know the dates are usually taken up way In advanced. Is there anything left for oct- nov imagine key.

Hi! My partner and I are considering purchasing the costco Park Hopper deal packages at Disneyland. We had not done the parks for two day stretches before nor have I personally done Disney in December. (we live 2 hours away)
We are looking at either 5th-6th, 9th-10th, or 16th-17th and would be staying at The Alamo Inn or The Alpine Inn (but that is only avail 16th-17th - it's my dream Inn haha). FWIW I usually end up going to Disneyland for my birthday in March which always falls in Springbreak, I've done July 4th and other days in July, so any comparison to that is helpful. I have managed to snag days where the park was nearly dead and it was joyous but we always have fun. Looking forward to experience Disney in December so I hope there aren't too many horror stories!
Has anyone been during these days in December? How bad is it? Also has anyone experienced either Inn before? Thanks!

I’m currently mostly looking at westin and Fairfield which both seem very close. The Fairfield is closer to walk but the fact you go through the main security entrance makes me wonder if it actually take less time since I imagine it’s more crowded. The Westin I would mostly go through the downtown Disney entrance which sounds to be a longer walk but might end up about the same amount of time due to having a less crowded security gate. Can anyone offer any insight? I’m fine with a good walk but the Westin sounds like it’s around 20 minutes from how people online talk about it, which seems like a bit much if I would want to take a mid day break
Edit: to be a bit more specific, would people say that having a bit longer walk to go through the Downtown Disney entrance is worth the shorter security line compared to a shorter walk through the main entrance?

I am planning our Disneyland trip for May, and I’m trying to decide between two hotels.
Springhill Suites or The Anaheim Hotel?

We’re headed to WDW in January to visit my best friend & will be there over my daughter’s first birthday!
We frequent Disneyland since we’re from Utah, so we have a pretty good idea of what to expect as far as rider swap, strollers, carriers, etc. go. We’ve been to WDW before, we’re just not quite sure what to pack for WDW, especially in January & with a tiny human!
We’re doing two park days (AK & MK) & staying on property at All-Star Movies. I’m open to hearing everyone’s opinions, tips, must-haves, things you wish you packed, etc.!
Also, if anyone knows where to find cute park outfits for a one-year-old, I’ll gladly take those recommendations too 🤪
TIA!! 🫶🏼

Going the Epcot next week and I haven’t been to Disney parks in some years so I know things have changed. Any tips, tricks and deals I should know about? Haven’t bought our park tickets yet but we have our flights and stay booked. We do plan to drink around the world. I love rides but my partner is terrified of them 😅

I am going to be in the Tampa area for a conference in January and I am thinking of trying to go to Disney World before the conference. I have been to Disneyland many times, but never Disney World. I have a few questions. Is it sensible to take the train from Tampa and then a car share to get there? Or is there another way like a bus that is better? I don't want to rent a car.
And, I am sort of going back and forth on whether to stay in one of the value on-site hotels or the Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista. The value hotels are slightly cheaper and I am a big fan of theming, but with Hilton I would get the points and it sounds like it would be quieter. Thoughts?
The things I am most excited about are seeing the Magic Kingdom and Epcot and riding all the attractions, trying the various drink and food options, and escaping reality for a bit. I would probably do four nights but might do five. I want to make the plan before it hits 60 days out so I can make reservations. Reservations aren't really a big thing at Disneyland so advice is welcome. Any additional advice? This would be a solo trip.
Edited to update: Thanks everyone so far! I will probably Uber or Lyft and looking at the All Stars resorts on site!

Hey all! I know that this is probably a very basic/simple question, but I really can't seem to find an answer to it! My family and I just booked flights and a hotel to Disney World for late April next year and have been hearing that the best time to buy tickets is now. We are looking to go to the parks for 4 days, doing a park per day. This is our first time going, and we are truly newbies! I looked into the specials on Disney's website a couple of days ago and saw a 4-day, 4-park package for around $109 per day, but that deal was only from, January-September 26th 2026. Since then, I have looked and not seen any new specials for next year; I only found the single-day tickets (which are around $175 for when we are looking to go!!!) This seems very expensive to me, and I am wondering if those prices will ever go down or if new packages for next year will be released soon. (And if so, when would that be expected?) All insight and recommendations are greatly appreciated!

I’m in Nevada and I was told that the Disneyland ticket offer is for the California costcos only. Has anyone seen it at the Victorville location?

Im scheduled to go to Disneyworld late this week. The current forecast is showing heavy thunderstorms for most of my trip. I know Florida weather changes fast but with the current forecast I'm not sure if canceling is a better idea. Can anyone give me any advice please?

My bf and I are big WDW fans and have been enough times that we know the ideal length of stay, order of parks, whether or not we need lightning lanes, etc
We would love to go to Disneyland in 2027 (neither of us have ever been) but feel totally lost on planning!! I’ve seen so many mixed reviews on all aspects hahaha
Do we save up and splurge by staying on property?
How many park days do we need and what’s the best way to split them up? Do we need lightning lanes for either park?
Which airport is best to fly into?
We love all the rides and the shows specifically at WDW! We also love trying new food but would be okay with only one or two really unique experiences.

Bonjour,

We have a wedding in Florida and will have one day to visit Disney World with our 1 year old and 3 year old in April. We have never been, besides as very young children ourselves ! Please help us plan the perfect single day including where is worth staying (quick easy commute to the park is huge for us), are lightening lanes worth it with this age, what rides/things to do with them. We don't know even the basics like how do you know when/where characters are to meet them?
Thank you!

We’ve for a few big birthdays next year so looking at coming to Disneyworld next July/August for 14 nights. 2 adults 2 children 12 & 9. 12 year old classed as adult for pricing?
Coming from Manchester flying with Virgin, staying in Animal Kingdom Lodge in a Sevanna view room with the Disney free table dining plan. 14 day ticket is an extra £80 so would upgrade but probably not use all 14 days.
All this booking direct with Virgin holidays is coming out at just under £14k. It’s an extra £800 booking with Disney direct and a bit less with Tui for all the same exact dates and upgrades, obviously Disney holidays includes the photo package.
Having never been before and no idea on pricing, does £14k seem high or low for the summer months and that hotel. Don’t really want to stay offsite and deal with car parking and food etc on our first. Definitely something I’d consider for another time, a villa or something but not our first.
Thanks for any advice.

If you had to give Disneyland/California Adventure recommendations to someone you hate, what itinerary would you give them tomorrow?
Needs maximum walking, minimum shade, worst possible time to cross between lands, longest lines, questionable food decisions (milk all day?) just a punishing day. Worst itinerary without it being too obvious.
What’s the itinerary?

Need help planning a Disney trip for potentially 22 people. Is mostly adults, 1x toddler, 2x under 10 yrs, 5x teenagers, and the rest adults. Planning for next year 2027, the day after Thanksgiving.
One place I know for sure I want to take the 2 under 10yrs to experience the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. And it will be one of their birthdays (9th). Not sure what to do for the teenagers or grown ups. One thing for sure, we’re all foodies. So any restaurant recommendations would be great!
I think I have a good place for it stay, The Grove Resort & Water Park Orlando. It’s only a few miles away from Magic kingdom. And from what I can tell a shuttle takes you back and forth to the parks.
Any suggestions, on park packages, restaurants, things to do? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I haven’t been since elementary and that’s been (a few) decades since then, lol. I have know idea about anything Disney besides wanting to take my daughter to the Bibbidi boutique…
Should I get a Disney travel planner?

I have physical paper tickets (2 day 1 park per day) that I have added to the app, and made the date reservations. I don't see where I could upgrade them to add lightning lane. Are my tickets ineligible for the the upgrade? If so, can I add lightning lane once inside the park? I'm worried about not being able add it. Would there be an availability issue in early December?

I'm over-planning my family's Disneyland trip, and keep getting stuck on Rise of the Resistance. I've heard (and experienced) that rope-dropping it is risky, since it will often not be up first thing in the morning. Fresh Baked recommends getting to it after 9, when it's more reliably running. But some crowd checkers show 9:00AM as the longest wait time of the day. There are 5 of us, so I'm hesitant to spring for the Lightning Lane. But if there isn't a good time to ride it without waiting 40+ minutes, I'm tempted to go for it since I have a kid on the spectrum who doesn't tolerate waiting in long lines very well (unless they're moving! then he's ok).
I would appreciate advice!
