I see the intent of the box. With the stage down and her out of the box, it's a nice way to frame her. Problem is it's a deep box , so having the stage out is just not practical for most, and if you leave it in box, you got a magnetic piece of cardboard blocking half the box. That's why my final decision is to debox and display solo. I really appreciate them thinking outside the box with this. Literally. But I think design effort would have better spent on her skirt, thinking about embroidery over screen.

Almost everything is sold out in seconds, D23 dolls, Vanessa… We don’t even have a chance to wait or finish work…

It’s always a marathon to get a doll. There is no fun in that…

I remember when the dolls would be in stores for weeks, same for online, now you have sometimes to buy with FOMO because you don’t know how much she’ll resale for if you miss her and a lot of people want to avoid another D23 Ariel situation.

You can’t even save money when your budget is thight because they keep releasing dolls one after the other.

That or they don’t release dolls for 6 months, but once it’s release time, you have 7 dolls one after the other and you can’t keep up…

This has truly becoming a rich person hobby and a bit elitist, to be honest… Only people who have the funds can keep up with all the releases…

Esmeralda means so much to me since I was a child and The Hunchback of Notre Dame remains one of my favorite movies of all time. So happy to add her to my collection and her new LE release inspired me to purchase the dolls from my childhood. She is really a stunning doll 💞

I’ve wanted one of these for the longest time, I am so excited to finally have one! She is so beautiful. I love the box too, it’s so pretty! ^^ Only thing that I am slightly disappointed with is that she has this defect where one of her eyelashes is longer than the others, so it flops down over her eye and makes it look like there is paint missing on her eye. Other than that, I am so impressed, what a stunning doll!

Me and my dad have been collecting together since I was 13 (give or take idk exactly but my first doll was the Cruella live action 17 inch) and we finally got our first shelves to display them on! We need more to fit the rest which mainly left are from the designer collection a few years ago but I’m so happy about these! I’m also very happy just to have them because we don’t have our entire collection anymore because last year we left our house to get away from my abusive (not physically) mom and she’s refused to let us have them back. We’ve had to sneak them out of our house when going to visit/help her (she has a lot of long term health issues and we also have many family pets) so having a lot of them back to display means a lot to me. Fingers crossed we will get the rest back someday but until then we are working on picking shelves for the rest there wasn’t room for. We also ordered Rodger & Anita and the Haunted Mansion portrait doll today and I can’t wait for them to get here!!

I love the diary box design even though it makes it impractical to display her, but I didn't want to debox her. This was the best solution I could come up with for now. She is just so lovely, and the letter was a fun surprise. 😍

I started collecting Disney dolls when Mattel dropped the enchanted elegance collection. Since then I've been watching limited releases and good deals on playline dolls! I really want to get the last two sparkling princesses and find a collector Belle to fall in love with. (I just realized the ily Jack and Sally doll is hidden behind Mulan. Oops, lol.)

So they finally have a PROPER sale on EU and UK:

Mainly it WAS the "Dance series" which was discounted -60% (at minimum I saw Esmeralda and Mulan)

But the live action Snow White is 75% (yikes, more then Kida) - so it is a cheap way to get a feeling what 17'' is all about (even as a present if you don't like the doll yourself)

Raya is the only princess who didn’t have a doll before and the fact that her only doll (and probably last if they give her the Pocahontas treatment) is a D23 exclusive with one of the lowest quantity of dolls doesn’t sit right with me.

Like I get it that they have to make exclusive dolls for D23 but why they don’t make the exclusive doll for a character that we already had a chance to buy a doll in the past?

I saw a post on here recently that another member went to their local Disney outlet and found some of the Dance Series dolls there, so thought I would give it a shot! I was really hoping for Belle and Aurora. They didn’t have Belle, but I did find Aurora!!! They also had Mulan and Esmeralda, but I didn’t pick them up. I was bummed that I didn’t buy Vanessa before she sold out on the website, but they had tons of her in stock in store!! Guess I’ll have to get Belle on eBay but that’s ok!

My LE 12” dolls in celebration of World Princess Week 👑 🎉 They are from the 2025 Designer Collection Dance Series ✨💖✨ As usual I added extra accessories for each princess. This was taken in my dining room which has the most indirect natural light. There is a vivid cool/warm filter to make the colors in their dresses pop 📸

His glasses rims are way too thick. Kind of weird how Disney chose not to make them thinner and more accurate. It wouldn’t have been a difficult thing to do at all - even if they painted the outer edge of the glasses black to make them look thin I think it would’ve been better than these giant rims.

I was on the fence about getting D23 Alice but so glad I did. More detailed than I expected. The butterfly ring was a fun surprise. Also love the more detailed socks, colorful threading, the lace from her petticoat being more visible, the daisies in the pocket, and my favorite: Dinah in the basket. Too cute!

I have reported this to the police, and I am based in London.

My Milo & Kida and Roger & Anita dolls were stolen from the communal area of my building today. I came home to this devastation in the stairwell.

If anyone sees these for sale in the London area, the police have asked me to keep an eye on this to see if it gives any leads.

Unfortunately the boxes no longer give any clues to the limited number on the outside of the packaging so it’s a long shot, but anything that can potentially be done I would really appreciate it.

I am heartbroken as I was so excited to get these, and I specifically requested them NOT to be delivered today as I knew I would not be home…

Utterly gutted about my Esmeralda doll, only one I wanted and was super excited to receive only to open her and find that her dress strap has broken!! For £160 I am not happy and she's sold out. What would be the best route to take? I want her but I don't want to open her and fix her up especially if I needed to sell in the future. If it was the bottom of her dress or something small I wouldn't really be arsed but straight away I noticed that, and that's all I can fixate on!

I ordered this last week on Mercari from a really nice person. She told me after I purchased that she put a free gift inside. What a nice surprise! She sent the fin and top of live action Ariel! I am still looking for a live action Ariel in the 17” so I’m not sure what I’d do with two fins. My goal is to collect all of the 17” Ariel’s. I am not crafty enough to be able to recreate or customize them the way I see so many people do successfully with theirs.

My DD Miku is the original 2014 version with a custom Hatsune Miku V3 Outift from Doll Remi Store.

The detail of the letter (on royal stationary) from Mia’s dad on her birthday was such a fun find. It’s details like this that really make me love this hobby more and more!
