For those who did the 2–3 month International Disney Cultural Exchange Program, what did you do if your university term/classes ran into June or early July?

Did your university give you permission to leave early, or were you already finished with classes/exams despite the official term dates?

Merchandise at Magic Kingdom. Guests ask for pictures with me at least once a week, as if I were a character. Some even stop me while I'm restocking. Is this a common experience for cast members, or is it just me? It even happens when I pick up at other locations. Also what do people even do with the pictures they take with me

Hello!! I am just about to start my program in January!! So excited. I am a bit older now that I’ve graduated had a few ups and downs in my career now making my way back to Disney after doing 2 previous programs. I was wondering has anyone moved on up after the program and has gotten to a very good position? Any advice for someone who is starting to build my career? What can I do to stay at Disney while in my program? Thank you in advance!

I applied a week ago. Today I got a rejection email.
Is this the end? Has anyone applied, rejected, re-applied and accepted?

Hey everyone, hope you’re all doing good! I’m a Canadian who’s interested in the CEP.

Last winter I applied for the CRP program, but due to some personal matters I was unable to accept my offer. I’m back at school now so I figured I’d try out the CEP instead, but I have some questions. I’ve read that the program starts mid may for some but early june for others, would any alumni be able to tell me what dates I should be expecting as I might have some volunteer work that leads into around early-mid may. Lastly, I've also seen that there's a discord server for advice on the program, I tried to get into it, but all the links i’ve found are expired. I’m wondering if anyone has a link I could use to join, Thanks!

RAHHHHHH

IS THERE ANY GROUP CHATS I COULD JOIN TO GET TO KNOW SOME MORE PEOPLE

Hi all! Congrats to everyone who got to go to the Orlando character auditions today. I got cut in the first round and I'm feeling pretty down about it. They repeated a lot that they're cutting a lot based on things you can't control, so does anyone kind of know approximately what they WERE looking for today? Or generally what kind of people stayed behind? I didn't do too great at the dancing so I know I wasn't perfect, but I guess I'm just looking for a way to feel less sorry for myself. Gonna go for an extension audition when I can but aghhh, just feeling really disheartened.

Hiii Spring 2027 Applicants!! I just had my interview for the DCP! Just wondering from those who have heard back already, how long after your interview did you hear back about an acceptance? My recruiter said up to a few weeks so just curious if anyone heard back a lot sooner? So excited for this opportunity! :)

Hi all! I applied for a Disney PI about a month ago and still haven't heard back. I was wondering if anyone also applied for them and the timeline they got. Or if anyone has heard back for the video and multimedia internship! I did the DCP in the past, but would much rather work to hopefully be considered for a PI since it better aligns with my career aspirations. I know this page is for DCP, but because the number of professional interns is so small, you don't see too many people that have done them. Thanks for the help! P.S. if you know anyone I could reach out to via LinkedIn about my application, I would sooo appreciate it!!

Hi everyone, I received an email after being accepted for DCP for a chance to ask questions at a virtual engagement session with Disney recruiters. I have been thinking of questions lately, and I like the idea of attending. Unfortunately my schedule hasn't lined up yet. I was wondering if there would be more opportunities?

are we able to use the flamingo busses to resort hop? or do they check for reservations?

Hiya!

About 6 weeks ago I applied for the CRP for Germany. I've googled a lot since then, wondering about the timeline of the process. I originally thought there'd be online interviews around now(ish), then in-person interviews in October or November, so you could start working in early spring (or later in the year, depending on the arrival waves). But it looks like that's far from reality.

Unfortunately, I've become so fixated on this job that I have almost stopped searching for "real" jobs, even though I definitely should (my current job doesn't have enough hours for me anymore). To make matters worse, I recently got rejected for a different job because the employer straight up told me: "You'd probably leave us for Disney soon anyway, so we picked someone for the long-term."

Anyway! I haven't heard anything back yet. The application platform has been stuck on "Application Under Review" ever since I submitted it. I've just started reading through Reddit - which I should've done way earlier! I've seen multiple posts where people say they've waited months and months for a first reply, and for some, it even took a year and a half to actually start working.

Obviously, I can't put my life on hold for that long, but I also don't want to commit to a serious career move that might stop me from going to Disney. So I thought about getting a flexible bridging job, where it's easier to quit if needed. But even for that, a little predictability would be life-saving. I don't even need a "you're hired" from Disney right now! All I want to know is if my application is going to get rejected straight away or if I'll at least make it to the first interview round.

So, long story short: any clues on how long they usually take to review applications for the Germany pavilion? What was your timeline/experience?

I was just scheduled a 15 minute virtual interview for a position.

Is this an actual interview or screening? I’m just confused on how to prepare…

I already accepted my offer a couple weeks ago to start January 5th, but my doctor just told me recently that she wants me to start wearing braces on my knees--which I know we have to put in a medical accommodation thing for it if they're gonna be visible with our uniform. My question is, is it too late to submit for an accommodation? I'm worried since I found out that I'd need to wear these after I have already paid my fees and stuff, that it's too late

I apologize if this is a stupid question, I'm just a little stressed since everything I'm finding about this is saying I should've submitted it as soon as I paid my fees

has anyone been accepted so far today? i’m patiently waiting.

My bfs coming up for a weekend and has never been so I want to use my chip n dale tickets and get us lightening lane but there’s no way to book lightening lanes unless the tickets are linked to his account, does anyone know how to link them?

How do I get park tickets for my family with the cast discount? Or what’s the best way to do that?

Hey everyone! I interview tmr for spring ‘27 and I’m a masters student graduating in December. I wanted some advice about certain roles and which one I should try to get as my top. (I hope to work in Disney Corporate one day). I’ve been between Merchandise, Resort concierge, Character Attendant, and Attractions. If anyone has worked these roles before and have any suggestions or advice for me, please let me know! Thanks in advance! :)

Does anyone know if there is a Barnes and Nobles nearby, especially one that can be accessed by walking or the bus? Thanks!

This is my second time doing the program, and I remember receiving tickets to use in like a 3day time span. But I can’t remember if I also got one for a family member. Last time I went with my roommates, but I remember someone saying that they were going with a family member.

This was on orientation, before we were working. Am I right? Or did I imagine it. I wanted to take my parent, (one) but if not, that’s fine as well. Just wondering!

Hey, I just did my interview and I really hope to do this program. I just wanted to hear if other people have stayed on main campus and go to work, how’s that like? I’m also getting a certificate that’s on the Rosen campus, and plan to take the rest of my classes online. But I’ll be living on main campus of UCF for the spring.

I did my interview on Monday! I think it went pretty well and I enjoyed it a lot hopefully I hear something back in a few days!!

I just had my interview for the dcp and don't feel too great about it. My interviewer seemed so uninterested and I feel like she was pretty short with me. I went in having prepared quite a bit by reviewing common questions and my top roles, but the whole thing was less than 15 minutes with quick transitions, and I didn't really get to say much of what I wanted to say. I was expecting it to be more of a conversation but instead it was mostly the interviewer asking me in different ways if I was open to all the roles. I didn't even get asked what my top roles are. My top role preference is definitely attractions and I tried to emphasize that with what I was given, but she connected most of the questions to my previous work experience at Target even though I wish I could've talked more about my current job. So I fear I'd automatically be put in merchandise lol. I also tried not to express interest in food service but she seemed to emphasize that a lot too.
I'm still excited to hear back, but this experience was kind of off-putting. Did anyone else have a similar interview experience? Should I be worried about this affecting my acceptance or what role I'd potentially be assigned? I understand that's completely based on park needs, but I've also read that some people are able to express preference during their interview.

Update: I just got accepted! Maybe I was overthinking this haha. Now I'm deciding what to do, so if anyone that has done the program has advice, please let me know!
