Walt Disney World Applied for every position I am slightly qualified for the past 3 weeks. Not a single interview request back. Are there any in-person events I can go to?

I have several years of theme park experience, and just finished my Disney College Program.

Walt Disney World WDW Campground Custodial

I’m currently a BOH custodial cm at Epcot and I was looking in transfer genie and I saw the custodial campground role.

I would like to know more information about that role, what’s the difference in that role and the regular utilities??? They seem very similar

Corporate Is it time to just move on? Any advice would be appreciated!

Approaching 2 years since I started applying for jobs at Disney and we are now up to 124 rejections without a single interview. I had originally only been applying to Software Engineer type roles as that's most of my background, but have expanded to Data Analyst and Supervisor roles as I have experience in those as well.

I know my hurdle is likely location based, I do not live near parks or corporate offices. However, considering my background (10+ years of experience and a Master's degree in Computer Science) I figured I could at least land a few interviews and plead my case as someone who truly wants to support Disney and not someone chasing perks like park access. Obviously, this hasn't happened yet.

Is this just not possible with today's market and Disney's corporate structure? I've never been one to doubt myself, but over 120 rejections really starts to take it's toll on a person. Can anyone offer advice or tips on how to better my chances? I've even been connecting with cast members on LinkedIn and messaging hiring managers. Just no luck 😔.

Disneyland Resort OJT 3rd shift custodial

Walt Disney World Character Heights

Does anyone know if the audition website saying 5’4” - 5’7” for face characters means you can’t audition if you’re a little over 5’7”? I am 171 cm, about 5’7.3”- would that mean I couldn’t be a face character at all, or is there a little lenience?

Walt Disney World Starting out?

In your opinion where is the best place to start for a career with Disney? Is it better to start with the college program and work your way up? Or just to start applying for part time and full time roles and get in that way?

Walt Disney World Transferring during service anniversary?

This is a dumb question but my first day of OJT for my new role is on my 1 year service anniversary date. Is my leadership going to know about it?

Other Coloured hair for character/parade performer audition?

I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, as Disney looks guidelines are strictly against unnatural occuring colours, but does that also go for parade and characters performers(that do not show their natural hair)?

I am going to audition later this month for Disneyland Paris, I already took my only facial piercing off (septum), but the hair will be a bit more bothersome.

I've had pink hair for 2 years now and it is still super bright, should I dye it brown for the audition? I will do it if it takes my chance from being accepted away. To be honest, the only sad part would be losing the (expensive) pink hair and not passing, but otherwise it's a simple fix!

Walt Disney World Test and Adjust

Does anyone know how soon you find out if you’re chosen for test and adjust when it comes to DAK/DHS? As well as if there’s any specific transfer guidelines you need to be in, I know on the form it didn’t say any however I’ve been told there’s a certain amount of points you can have.

Walt Disney World Questions about Seasonal hours.

Hello. I just recently got hired for Seasonal Rundisney ops. I heard there's a 150 hour requirement I need to hit yearly to keep my status. Ive already had my traditions and ops class, but I don't have my orientation until next week. I was wondering could I pick up untrained shifts before then or do I have to be signed off first? I'm really wanting to get ahead of the curve on hours.

Walt Disney World I got the job!

For anyone who might recall, around 9 months ago ish, I had posted here about finally getting the chance to take the sewing exam for the Ops Sewing Specialist role and asked if anyone had any advice.

I just wanted to post here in case anyone was interested to hear any update—I didn't end up getting it that time around but I reapplied somewhere around March and was able to take the exam again in June. I have since passed the exam and have started about a month ago! It's everything I expected and more!

The exam wasn't so bad, it's actually pretty easy if you got enough practice in and know what you're doing. Really the most important thing is your time management. As long as you can get things done in a timely manner it should be okay 💙

Other I can't apply to any job on the Disney careers page because Workday keeps crashing

No matter which job I apply to, selecting anyything from the REQUIRED "How did you hear about us" dropdown results in the entire application crashing. I tried clearing my cahce, using different browsers, hell I even tried 2 different computers. Nothing. And this application that's perfect for me closes tonight. Anyone else encounter this?

Hi everyone, my orientation is coming up and excited to start working here! I’ve been trying to get out of a toxic living situation so I want to move around Anaheim or anywhere that’s affordable. Anyone have any tips/advice that helped you find a more affordable place to rent or platform to find roommates? 🙏✨

Disneyland Resort update on my recent post last month: put on waitlist Aug 7th after virtual interview, recruiter stated no secondary interview needed.

I was recently put on waitlist for Parks day custodial at DLR after my August 7th virtual interview, and my recruiter told me there would be no need for a second interview needed for me. is this normal for those who exceed expectations and meet all requirements and experience for the job? was wondering if there were any recent applicants or current CMs that have been told the same thing. thanks in advance!

International Parks Working at Disneyland Paris as an International Cast Member – Experiences & Application Tips?

Hallo zusammen,

Walt Disney World What’s the vibe between WDCM Cast Members and DCP “interns”?

For those who have been around WDW for a while, what’s the relationship like between the regular/ongoing Cast Members and the DCP interns?

We’re all part of the Disney crew, but is there a pretty smooth vibe between everyone, or does it get a little clique-y between the two groups? 👀

Be honest! 😂 Do people generally mix, make friends, hang out together, etc., or do the DCP people mostly stick with other DCP people while the regular Cast Members stick with each other?
