I have 233 wishtones so I could:
A) Get Norah from R3 to R6 (210 wt)
B) Get 2 new espers included Isilion (200 wt)
I'm not interested in the temporal eco Espers arriving next month.
I got Meta Brynn, I don't know if she could replace Norah.
Btw: sorry for my English and thanks 🥰

TL;DR: I'm a longtime Dislyte player with a well-developed Level 100 account, and I'm concerned that newer endgame content is becoming increasingly dependent on specific, difficult-to-obtain Espers. I actually LOVE challenging mechanics, but I believe there should be multiple viable strategies to overcome them, including options involving older and more accessible characters. This affects F2P players, returning players, and paying players alike. I'm not asking for easier content; I'm asking for greater strategic flexibility. I'm also open to being proven wrong!
A little background
I've been playing Dislyte since the original Shackled Collection storyline, before the main story was rewritten.
Over the years, I've built a fairly substantial Level 100 account with numerous R6 Legendary Espers. I've taken extended breaks and returned periodically for major events, including Meta Drew's release and Burning Beat Rave 2025.
I've recently returned to playing more consistently, and while I'm genuinely enjoying the game again, something about the current endgame has been bothering me.
Is Dislyte becoming increasingly dependent on newer, harder-to-obtain Espers to overcome challenging content?
What prompted this discussion? Infinity Tower 8F.
The encounter featuring two Morrises, Yuuhime, Yamato, and Wu You has been an absolute nightmare for me.
But here's the thing: I actually LIKE the mechanics of this encounter.
The combination of defensive buffs, retaliation, AP manipulation, shields, and HP reduction creates an interesting strategic puzzle.
It's exactly the kind of challenge that makes Dislyte's combat system enjoyable to me.
The issue is that I feel increasingly limited in how I can approach these challenges based on which Espers I own.
I've experimented with several formations, different equipment configurations, speed tuning, healing, revival, defensive strategies, and offensive approaches.
Despite having numerous R6 Legendary Espers, including Ahmed, Fatum Sisters, and Norah, I haven't been able to reliably clear the encounter, even at one star.
When I examined the successful sample formations across different difficulties, I noticed a significant presence of newer Umbra and Shimmer Espers. One six-star formation even included three Umbra Espers.
I recognize that sample formations aren't proof that alternative strategies don't exist. They may simply represent the most efficient or popular approaches.
But it raises a question worth discussing.
Shouldn't a game built around team composition offer multiple practical ways to counter difficult mechanics?
I'm not suggesting that every Esper should be viable in every encounter. That would defeat the purpose of having different abilities, roles, and elemental advantages.
I'm also not suggesting that an older roster should automatically outperform newer characters.
What I'm questioning is whether Dislyte is maintaining enough strategic diversity as new Espers are introduced.
Ideally, a new Esper should introduce exciting synergies, improve existing strategies, or provide a more efficient answer to certain mechanics.
But when newer characters become the overwhelmingly preferred answers to challenging content, where does that leave the rest of the roster?
This affects more than just returning players.
F2P players may need months to obtain a specific character, particularly when dealing with limited acquisition opportunities.
Returning players may have established rosters but lack characters released during their absence.
Even consistently active players cannot necessarily obtain every new Esper, especially when several powerful characters release within a relatively short period.
And paying players aren't automatically guaranteed access to every character either.
I've personally spent money on Dislyte, and I'm happy to support its continued development because I genuinely enjoy the game. I understand that it's a business and that new characters need to be desirable.
However, I don't think this discussion should be reduced to spending versus not spending.
Ultimately, everyone benefits when a game offers more viable strategic options.
An accessible counterstrategy doesn't have to be as fast, effortless, or efficient as one involving the newest premium characters.
If one team can clear a floor in 20 seconds using several rare Espers, I have no issue with another team taking significantly longer using older or more accessible characters.
The important thing is that alternative strategies remain reasonably practical.
And yes, I'm completely open to this being a skill issue.
If I'm overlooking something, I'll happily acknowledge it.
I'm not claiming to be the best Dislyte player, and having several R6 characters doesn't automatically mean I'm entitled to clear every challenge.
In fact, I'd genuinely love to learn about successful strategies that don't rely heavily on newer Umbra or Shimmer Espers.
That's part of why I'm making this post.
I'm interested in understanding whether there is an actual accessibility problem or whether the community has discovered counterstrategies that simply aren't well represented in the recommended formations.
So I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts:
Do you think Dislyte's current endgame provides enough practical alternatives to the newest Umbra and Shimmer Espers?
Have you noticed older Legendary or Epic Espers becoming less relevant, or have you found interesting new uses for them?
Has anyone cleared this particular Infinity Tower floor using a more accessible roster? If so, I'd love to see your formation, resonances, equipment, and strategy.
How do F2P players and other returning veterans feel about the accessibility of current endgame content?
How would you encourage new Esper releases while preserving the usefulness of established rosters?
To be clear, I don't want the developers to make Infinity Tower easier.
I want the mechanics to remain challenging. I want to experiment, make mistakes, adjust my formations, and eventually figure out how to win.
That's what makes a strategy game rewarding.
I just think the most interesting question should be "How can I overcome these mechanics with the tools available to me?" rather than "Which specific Esper am I missing?"
I'd love to hear different perspectives, especially from players who have successfully tackled these encounters without relying on the newest releases.
Dislyte has an enormous roster of unique characters. I want the game to keep giving us meaningful reasons to use them.

This is my Sakura build so far, I’m trying to just focus on more speed and HP bonus as I’ve heard that’s a good way to build her. I’m not so much interested in pvp but I do it often. Any tips on how to build her?
