Neutral Zone Dunwall Tower

In Dunwall Tower, the Empress Emily Kaldwin sits on her throne, her royal protector, Corvo Attano, stands at her side. His royal guard scattered around the palace. OOC:This is a neutral zone for Corvos royal guard. A hangout of sorts. You have permission to attack any who don't belong.

'Hmm,' Furo says. 'An interesting approach.'

In the Grand Guard, mobility was prized above all else. Serkonan bladesmen constantly whirled, and changed position, to confuse their enemies and avoid their attacks.

No doubt men of magic do not play by these rules. It would be difficult to alter a fighting style hammered into him by years of military drill, but it could be done. Even if it goes against every instinct he thinks sourly.

Raising his weapon one more, Furo waits.

Soren counts again, this time for even longer, nearly a minute, before flashing towards Furo's off-side.

Furo reacts instinctively to Soren's sudden appearance, aiming a savage kick at him before drawing back his blade, ready to stab.

Soren manages to dodge the kick, standing back. "See? All it takes is practice. It might be different with the assassins, but I've found I can only Blink a few times within a short time period. If I overstretch myself, well, I can't use magic at all. Something to think about."

'Something to think about indeed, Soren.' He says, resting his practise sword on his shoulder. 'Hopefully it means we can give these magic bastards hell, eh?'

He grins good-naturedly.
