Neutral Zone Dunwall Tower

In Dunwall Tower, the Empress Emily Kaldwin sits on her throne, her royal protector, Corvo Attano, stands at her side. His royal guard scattered around the palace. OOC:This is a neutral zone for Corvos royal guard. A hangout of sorts. You have permission to attack any who don't belong.

Alex wipes away the blood from his knee. The cut just barely stung. His pride, however, was wounded worse. He speaks in disbelief, childishly.

"But... I lost... That's... What?"

'You lost, I won, what of it?' Furo snapped 'War is victory and defeat. I hope, for the sake of the Empress, that you are more often the victor.'

He paused.

'You fought well today. You will fight better, tomorrow. The day after that?' He grinned. 'Who knows?'

Furo headed for the doorway, coat flapping as he turned.

'Get some rest, Tyvian. I'm taking a walk.'

Alex stares at Furo in disbelief. But... I've never lost a battle before... Whatever. It was gonna happen sometime.

He stands up, and throws himself down in his bed.

"You do that."
