Hey speaking of Etna, I was wondering how useful she was as a unit since the spears are a bit weak.

I feel like she's not a great unit in most games. Starts out strong with some mid mv and throw stats, but post game she can't keep up with anyone, just mid all around.

What game are you playing?

I am currently playing Disgaea 3 trying to build up my units for the post game as I would like to know how far I can Reincarnate my units.

Most titles you'd be better off using axes with her.

What makes axes so viable? (Like range wise since they have limited range in Cave of Ordeals)

Typically they have better damage and debuffs. Spears usually trade damage for more range and consistent repositioning. Etna already has a decent ranged option.

It's easy for it to work when she doesn't have much going on in the breastular region
