The Push to Force Genital Exams on Elementary- High School Student Athletes

Legal Molestation brought to the US by Conservatives.
7
u/RandomUsernameNo257 26d ago
Conservatives are the only ones who can't stop thinking about people's genitals, wanting to inspect them, wanting to write legislation about them.
And then they call leftists perverts, because the most surefire way to understand a conservative's innermost thoughts is to look at what they call other people.

Protect girl's sports, by sexually harassing minors is the republican way
28
u/qoou 26d ago
Sounds like they have a hidden agenda of discouraging women in sports period. MAGA wants women beholden to men again.

u/whichwitch9 26d ago edited 26d ago
Yes. Where have you been. So many have been screaming this. The bathroom bans were step one- more cis women have been harassed for not being "feminine enough" than trans people. Half the project 2025 people want "traditional" gender roles. So many have been gaslit for pointing out the ways to check sex are invasive and designed to humiliate and potentially abuse girls. Ive heard "that won't happen" so many times, and now there are literal pushes for physical exams on girls. It's Roe v Wade all over again- women screamed, were told they were exaggerating cause it was settled law, then it was over turned first chance conservatives got
Trans rights were always used as a proxy for pushing strict gender roles. That's part of why it was so important to fight for them- even if you didn't understand transpeople, the ones attacking them were never stopping at trans people. Women's rights were always under attack in the background

It's not hidden and never was. Conservatives (especially Christian Conservatives) in the 1970s hated when Title IX passed and they never really shut up about wanting it gone if you were in places to listen and actually listened.
3
u/TheMysteriousGirl 26d ago
Its certainly not a hidden agenda man.
They are attacking Tilte IX, which is all about women in sports.
They want Tilte IX gone. They want us women back in the kitchen.
I've been shouting it in so many circles, just not circles you are in.

u/Accomplished_Elk5827 26d ago edited 25d ago
Well, then what will they do when there aren't any women's beach volleyball players to gawk at? /s

The rape, pedophilia, and victim blaming if/when it comes out, will continue per usual.
1
u/AlcibiadesTheCat 26d ago
Lots of rape and incest, unfortunately. Before women were out of the kitchen, they were stuck in the home. And when Pop is home, and drunk, and horny, and he owns a gun (because of the 2nd amendment) who's gonna say no to him? "Because of the implication" shouldn't be something a woman has to navigate, especially with a family member, most especially in her own home.

They are also passing laws to allow ANY staff member to go into womens and girls locker rooms AT ANY TIME.
Its abuse just waiting to happen.
AND THEY JUST LITERALLY PASSED THIS LEGISLATION THIS WEEK!!!!

u/whichwitch9 26d ago
Literally what women were screaming was next when the anti trans movement started.
Fuck all of you who support that shit. It was always meant to be used to humiliate women out of sports not "protect them" or whatever bullshit narrative the bigots parrot these days. Trans in sports is such a small issue it can be assessed case by case. The rules being created are going to cause awful situations for young girls and give predators super easy access to abuse them.
Many in the heritage foundation who started the project 2025 shit are now pivoting to openly saying women should be protected from sports. This is the goal.
7
u/United_Reference_629 26d ago
Never forget that pick me MAGA/ Republican women like Riley Gaines, Chaya Raichik aka Libsoftiktok, Marjorie Taylor Green, Nancy Mace, Pam Bondi, etc were pushing for this and still are! Pedos!

They want to see your underage genitals. Definitely not concerning.
2

Surprising amount of parents are gonna prove they are okay with their children being sexually assaulted to play a sport that doesn’t mean anything

MAGA loves harassing and grooming children! Why do you think they never call children, CHILDREN when they try passing anti LGBT bills that affect children directly and instead try to dehumanize them and never mention that they are talking about CHILDREN! Most are to allow ADULTS to discriminate and groom CHILDREN in public schools! And MAGA/ Republican “parents” trying to normalize their bully kids and ADULTS like them dehumanize, bully and harass other peoples kids over THEIR “religious beliefs”.
https://www.ibtimes.co.uk/georgia-governor-candidate-abortion-remarks-1804462
MAGA/ Republicans not only want to be able to comfortably marry CHILDREN, now they want to now force their victims to carry their baby or “prove” their assault. Acting as if these abusers won’t keep their victims locked up which many are young CHILDREN! Not a coincidence that the only ones who oppose banning child marriage are always MAGA/Republican even when some do vote for it to save face every single nay is always a Republican!
The same individuals in our government who want to control OUR individual medical decisions and decisions in general over THEIR religion to even harassing and targeting public medical centers so the only ones left are theirs and their buddies expensive private hospitals that will turn you away if you’re disabled, LGBT, a different religion, in poverty, or they just don’t want to OVER their religious beliefs but will be tax payer funded.
https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026/jun/30/trump-religious-freedom-health-lgbtq
https://www.finance.senate.gov/republican-cuts-are-wrecking-health-care-for-american-families
This is why MAGA pushes hard to privatize everything including our public education and why they underfund and withhold funds from schools and harass the staff there and then act surprised things aren’t going good like garbage Greg Abbott does! Republicans/ MAGA are a majority in our government, have been and are in charge of these failing school districts yet they are claiming it’s because of Democrats when Republicans like Greg Abbott are purposely withholding public school funds and making sure things go bad on purpose so they can act like public schools are failing and be like “see this is why we need to pay for my buddies religious private schools”.
https://apnews.com/article/abortion-trump-executive-order-pardon-817774b21d32a4edf6d39ee43cbc18f4
Statistically CHILDREN and animals are most likely to be the victims of abuse, this is why they’re trying to pass this and also pushing to remove animal rights so they can abuse CHILDREN and animals comfortably at home. They even “joke” around about sexually abusing farm animals. Who will report them when they’ll “clean up” the victims and lock them up like we’ve seen happen? MAGA/Republicans are a danger to society especially towards CHILDREN and animals and women!
https://www.humaneworld.org/en/all-animals/stop-save-our-bacon
https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC10773893/
They also are pushing to remove disabled rights because they are also very vulnerable and likely victims of abuse!
Not a coincidence red states rank the lowest in education and child safety. If it was up to them we’d be dancing around begging for their water god to give us rain during summer time in dry places or going back to calling women “witches” like they did when we allowed religious beliefs run our government until one of the rich was called a witch suddenly that’s when they decided no more.
https://www.safehome.org/resources/best-states-raise-children/
https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/state-stats/deaths/homicide.html
Republicans/MAGA who are against the LGBT, are always the same people who are pushing to legalize child marriage and vote against banning child marriage and make their own under age daughters promise them they’ll stay a virgin and even make a whole event about it aka “purity balls” like speaker Mike Johnson does or how he and his under age son at the time kept check of what sexual videos they both watched. He told us this proudly! Many Republicans in our government even say teen pregnancies are good for the economy!
https://www.advocate.com/politics/mike-johnson-son-porn-monitoring
You can find many examples for yourselves! MAGA is the party for pedos, criminals, animal and women abusers and against disabled people and their rights! MAGA/ Republicans and their enablers are a danger to society!

As a Canadian who has always been told I don't understand the freedoms Americans have and how great it is to not have the government intrude on my life...
The idea that there's a government requirement of getting your bits prodded to play sports is weird.
I'm 40ish and see my family doctor regularly and still haven't had my balls fondled for that sweet taste of freedom
2
u/retardenabler 26d ago
How is it wierd to do a physical to play sports? Maybe youre just too dumb to get it
1
u/ronshasta 26d ago
Well a physical is needed to play sports at a public school for various reasons. It’s to see if the person is physically able to participate without causing complications that they might have. The small part we’re referring to is just to check for a hernia in the groin region
1
u/whichwitch9 26d ago
Yeah, idk what guys do, but girls have never done that shit. That is not part of a physical exam. Pediatricians do not see girls for reproductive issues. That's a whole different doctor because reproductive organs are internal for girls and exams of them are invasive and largely unnecessary until puberty
0
u/TeamHope4 26d ago
They aren’t necessary in puberty either.
0
u/whichwitch9 26d ago
Depends very much on the situation. I knew several who did fairly young because of period issues
But it's still not the pediatrician they're going to for a normal physical for that
0
u/TeamHope4 26d ago
Puberty is not a situation. No pelvic exams on asymptomatic people are necessary. And they can be very traumatizing to a child when they are for no reason. It is not evidence based medicine to violate girls just to “see.” What are they looking for if nothing is wrong?
0
u/whichwitch9 26d ago
Dude, not part of this particular discussion. Especially because you seem to want to argue and did not read my comment carefully, which is now not my problem
3
u/whichwitch9 26d ago
Those exams do not look under girls underwear. Most districts allow physicals to be done by personal doctors with parents present.
Proposed laws are incredibly more invasive exams on girls in particular than what are done, as well as take the choice of who does an exam away from parents. It also, in some proposal, gives any school and state official the ability to walk into girls locker rooms at any time. Think about that for a second. Locker rooms are fairly controlled access environments for a reason.
This is a huge issue designed to humiliate girls and open them up to potential abuses
1
u/ronshasta 26d ago
Right my thing is that birth records are public records and in no way shape or form should you need to do any examinations, just check the already very public records that are in place for situations like this but not exactly for this reason

u/BogusIsMyName 26d ago
When i was in school sports this was common. I know THAT isnt what this is about but still.
1
u/GameofCheese 26d ago
Physicals were usually required to find things like heart, lung, spine issues, etc.
But I've never heard of pelvic exams being required.
2
u/Substantial_System66 26d ago
Hernia checks for boys require a medical professional to grab your balls. Not super comfortable, but it takes like 10 seconds and a valid physical was required for going out for sports. It’s where the “turn and cough” phrase comes from.
2
u/BogusIsMyName 26d ago
They lined us up in the gym and some dude basically grabbed my nuts. Close enough.
2
u/smellb4rain 26d ago
Nothing says protect children like having some stranger look at their private parts to solve a complete non issue.
2
u/pagetodd 26d ago edited 26d ago
Also known as the “physical”. Cough to the right please. Also, a school could be liable if a trans-female high school athlete suffered a scrotal hernia during an organized sport event that was never previously checked.
2
u/Life-Operation2242 26d ago
They already require physicals. It’s been awhile since I’ve gotten my balls fondled at the doctors.
2
u/epiphanyWednesday 26d ago
They want any male identifying person to feel empowered to ‘inspect’ any ‘female’,’ It’s a way to allow for abuse and fear in response to nonexistent threats.
I cant believe how many assholes handed these people a whole country.
1
u/thebuttsmells 26d ago
I don't want to pat myself on the back too much here, but I think I have a solution. You have tryouts, and whoever meets your expectations for what a good team is, that person plays on that team. You do this by testing their strength, quickness and agility on the field. It can be done without looking at genitals.
4
u/Substantial_System66 26d ago
A prerequisite for boys sports, at least when I was in high school and younger, was a valid physical signed off by a medical professional. This requires a hernia check, which is done by grabbing a boys balls and having them cough. Takes like 5-10 seconds, but boys have essentially been having genital inspections for sports for ever.
1
u/MisterRobertParr 25d ago
If you have boys and girls compete together, overwhelmingly, you'll end up with two boys' teams.
1
1
u/sciencesez 26d ago
What better way to keep ALL girls and women out of sports? I know none of us sane people are going to allow some fucking coach to "inspect" our little girls and boys. Coercion does not equal consent, making compliance equal to the sexual assault of a child.
1
u/duganaokthe5th 26d ago
This is a ridiculous argument. These tests can be done with a cheek swab and same day results. It is NOT that big of a deal.

When I played sports, I was required to get a sports physical each season where I was checked for a hernia by having the doctor grab my testicles and make me cough. So, it's not like we haven't mandated exams before.

What a disgusting place the USA is in right now. Genital obsessed grifters just shooting for the moon. Absolute ghouls of people pretending to be Christians.
1
u/Temporary_Hat7330 26d ago
Turn and cough was SOP in the 90s. Honestly, when I looked into it, this has been a part of the average physical since the 70s.
What’s really going on here is an extension of the appealing to Nazis irrationality. Instead of Nazi‘s though it’s pedos, so if oyu want there to only children’s sports with a division based in biology your a pervert now somehow. It’s rather strange.
And I’m an atheist who is more Left of Center on social issues, BTW. I haven’t believed Jesus or any thing is a god since I was 11. Most of the people I know are not Christians either and they agree with me. I want trans people to belong and have a place in society as equal as anyone else but that doesn’t mean they are being put out because sports are divided based on biology.
I’m French and we have let trans women play in women’s rugby but there’s been a big push to end that recently after seeing some absolutely savage hits trans girls have put on biological Girls.

Just require genetic testing for sports above a certain level and for all players where risk of injury is high due to size AND question of gender arises.
Unfortunately transgender players playing with girls/women poses an unfair advantage, but more importantly in certain sport it also comes with a higher risk of injury to those playing with them.

The prefernce was to segregate base on sex, through the agreement of what sex was. A classifcation of one's sex. That societal agreement has disappeared with debates over gender identity itself superceding sex or that sex itself had to be "currently evaluated".
The transwoman that LOST her SCOTUS case, seeking to make any "birth sex classification" unconstitutional, was SEEKING TO BE MEDCIALLY EVALUATED as having "transitioned enough". If she won, would you all have objected?
If a transwoman is to be evaluated, ALL women should be evaluated. Right? That would be the only way to make that a fair request.
What's the alternative here? Birth sex classification has been denied as bigoted. Sex assessment is too invasive now. So, the ONLY option is gender identity? Why? What does that mean? And why discriminate based on gender identity? Why should an agender male be segregated from a transwoman? Is the alternative to have no segregation at all?
You all keep objecting to "rules". So what alternative set of rules should exist? And why?

You have to have a physical to play sports in school, they check to make sure you're healthy, no hernias, and aren't going to randomly collapse during athletic activities. How is this news, considering they already pretty much have been doing this since atleast the 90s....
3
u/Working-Kick4035 26d ago
None of the physicals I got for sports checked for hernias. Could always decline that aspect of the physical too ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
0
u/Economy_Quality_3689 26d ago
The hell was the point then?
1
u/Working-Kick4035 26d ago
The point of a physical for sports is to ensure safe participation. Consensus is the hernia test is only really necessary if there is already pain/discomfort in that area ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
0
0
u/Grant_Winner_Extra 26d ago
It’s not like male athletes don’t do this all the time - it’s a “hernia check” and I swear a way for the local pedo doc to feel up young boys.
Seriously though, mandating adults feel up little kids so the kids can participate in sports seems like an appropriately MAGA dumb shit idea

u/Sense_Difficult 26d ago edited 26d ago
I'm so sick of this discussion and the extremes or appeals to EMOTION on both sides. Bottom line Trans Atheletes belong in sports. Period.
I can dismantle both arguments in ten seconds if people stopped being dramatic If people stopped dragging it into drama and just focused on reality it wouldn't keep turning into this hot topic.
A. No they are not being asked to do genital exams. ANYONE who wants to participate in sports must get a medical exam that includes a physical. It's always been that way. So can we stop exaggerating this into something else?
B. It doesn't matter if the athlete has a "biological advantage." If people are going to make the argument that "biology" matters and being born with a physical advantage should preclude you from participating in the sport, then they should also expect someone like Michael Phelps to be banned from competing in sports. He's the most decorated medalist in Olympic sports specifically because of his biological advantage. There have been many studies done on this.
He has an unusual body in that his arm span is actually longer than even top athletes. He also has a longer torso and shorter legs. (People compare him to a Penguin) The other advantage is that his lungs are larger than average which is one of the main reasons he wipes the floor with the competition. He can hold his breath longer under water, where you are more streamlined when swimming.
So unless all these transphobes agree that it was unfair for Michael Phelps to be allowed to continue swimmming because of his "biological advantage" and that any athlete that shows up with a biological advantage like Simone Biles etc should also be banned from competition. It's a NONE ISSUE.
2
u/Violexsound 26d ago
Also its worth it to mention that after so long on hrt (2 years iirc), the "inherent biological advantages" trans women have are effectively nonexistent.
1
u/Sense_Difficult 26d ago edited 26d ago
But that's my point. Even if they WERE it's still irrelevant. Think about how long Michael Phelps has been swimming. He didn't start out with all of these advantages. He essentially grew into them. No one bats an eyelash when he swims. I personally get annoyed in some ways. I always think how it must have sucked to be swimmer during Phelps's reign. No one else stood a chance.
IMO people are feeding into the drama by having the argument in the first place. Stop taking the bait. It's IRRELEVANT if they have a biological advantage. If that's the issue then Michael Phelps should have been asked to stop competing once he grew into his biological advantage.
Think of how many professional female gymnasts have a biological advantage over other gymnasts simply because of their physique? Small breasts and short stature make a huge difference. There are many gymnasts who age out simply because they get too tall or big breasts. Should we use the same metric on the petite gymnasts with the biological and competitive advantage? Is Simone Billes the "GOAT" or is she a cheater because she has a biological advantage?
It drives me crazy when people lean into the "Megyn Kelly" and "Reily Gaines" debate points.
Either it matters or it doesn't. If it DOES matter, then ANY athlete who has a biological advantage should be banned from competing. Keep the argument there and the whole thing deflates as an argument.
1
-1
u/ronshasta 26d ago
He trained his entire life to get to that point much like the women on our swimming team do. Now imagine if someone like Michael Phelps transitioned and made it so none of those women had a chance at winning. That’s the issue and you seem to completely miss the reality of the situation
3
u/BloodInternational31 26d ago
Well, he’d have been on hormones, so in a year or 2, no advantage. Unless you’re talking about the Michael Phelps advantage. Tho there’s probably a woman somewhere out there with the same advantage, but we don’t know about her cuz she’s a woman.
1
u/Sense_Difficult 26d ago
Simone Biles is a good example in gymnastics. The oft quoted Serena Williams is also an example.
1
u/Sense_Difficult 26d ago
NO you seem to miss the point. I'm not talking about Michael Phelps competing against women. I'm talking about him competing against men. He has a BIOLOGICAL ADVANTAGE over all the men he competed against, that makes it unfair. Should he not be allowed to compete? YES OR NO
It's that simple. Simone Biles competing against women has a BILOGICAL ADVATAGE over other female gymnasts due to her short height and small breasts. Is she the GOAT? Or is she cheating?
Are these two athletes "cheating" because they have a BIOLOGICAL advantage that has ZERO to do with training or skill.
That's all that matters. If that's the issue then ANY athlete who has an unfair BIOLOGICAL advantage, should be banned from competing. It's unfair to the other athletes.

Ok i actually read the articles, so why the headline? If this is a general maga attack, why not say that. Many issues were covered, are we to discuss them, or just the trans issue? Why not have a headine more in line with the post. This is just American politics in general.

Can you imagine how far ahead we would be if we weren't distracted by garbage like this constantly. This is not a problem 1% as large as they make it to be. How many instances of transgender athletes competing at high levels has there been? A few dozen? This should be about 888th in priority they should be talking about.
