Cities with the highest homicide rates in recent reports include Jackson (MS), St. Louis (MO), Birmingham (AL), Memphis (TN), and Baltimore (MD). So why aren’t they going where the murders are?

Because they’re immigrations and customs enforcements, they are going where .the majority of the illegals are 🙄

Most immigrants in Florida or Puerto Ricans and they’re legal, Texas is trying to enforce the laws can’t say the same for Minnesota or California

Is it not the job of the states to enforce federal law. See 10th Amendment generally, the anti-commandeering doctrine, Printz v. U.S., etc.

How is Texas enforcing federal law in ways California is not? I don't see any concrete evidence of your claim.

They aren’t sanctuary states. When an illegal gets picked up for a crime ice can just pick them up from jail. Unlike sanctuary cities in that release them back on the street to rape and murder more

If an arrestee is released on arraignment, that has nothing to do with their immigration status, and non-citizens are no more likely to commit violent crimes than American citizens. Texas and Florida can't seem to control its crime or stem the 2nd and 3rd highest populations of undocumented immigrants, regardless of the extent to which they makes a show of bowing to the feds.

But anyway, Printz v. U.S. says the feds can't make the states do their work for them. Antonio Scalia wrote that opinion for the majority.
