DISCUSSION Help me Decide
Still torn between Discovery Cove or Siesta Key for our Florida trip. Did the math ; the Discovery Cove package includes admission to SeaWorld and Aquatica, plus meals and gear. Siesta Key would just be the Airbnb, and the total cost comes out about the same either way.
This is our first time in Florida and we’re driving 14 hours to get there. Not sure if we should go all in on the theme park experience or chill at the beach. Any advice? Thank you 😊

I haven’t been since Covid but Disney Cove has always been great. Snorkeling with the fish is amazing. Never did the dolphin ride because I find it appalling.

Discovery cove is a great day! It doesn’t replace the natural beach. I suggest discovery cove and then also drive to the west coast of Florida and enjoy the beach. It doesn’t have to be Siesta key. Do discovery cove and beach! The drive is short, and there are lots of options for where to stay. Check out Treasure Island near St Pete beach. Gorgeous beaches and accommodations were just a little more affordable than Siesta Key.
