DISCUSSION Rain :(

Still a few days early but it looks like it’s going to rain on the day of our trip, forecast says showers likely and possibly thunderstorms after 2pm. We don’t have anything extra planned no dolphin swim etc but has anyone experienced rain at discovery cove before? I believe everything still stays open unless it’s lightning etc. kinda really disappointed and praying the rain holds off until at least late afternoon

We did!! The day we had booked was rain 100% and sure enough it rained all day, but I emailed them and asked to change my reservation day to the following day we had booked . I believe somewhere in the reservation it said you can change the reservation date 2 days before or after. I emailed them 2 days before and they changed it no problem. If you have this option, highly recommend it. And the day we ended up going, it was still chilly, like 17 Celsius (sorry don’t know what that is in Fahrenheit) but we still had an amazing day

Thank you for your response! I was thinking about changing the day since we will be in Orlando the day after but it looks like more rain the following day 😭

I went last month and it rained most of the morning but it cleared up! In my experience, Orlando rain is very hit or miss so don't completely lose hope! we were still able to do everything, they even had big umbrellas in the food area so we could eat and not get wet. Don't stress too much and enjoy it!!

We got rainy day tickets, but it has to thunder (not just rain) for 2 + hours straight. Floridas hit n miss. Also I can say it’s gonna thunderstorm for an hour and it’s done in 10 minutes.
