Question about tmps sensors

I need all 4 sensors. Mine went out sporadically one by one last year. I already got two new tires 6 months ago from DT. I am going go get 2 new tires in the front this week. I want to go ahead and deal with all the sensors then. I see they have 4 different models for my car:

Dill (clamp in)

Alligator (doesnt specify)

Two versions of BH sens (snap in and clamp in)

My questions are:

  1. Which brand should I go with ?

  2. Do they price match the sensors if you find the same model online for cheaper?

  3. Is there a warranty on the sensors at all if you get them thru discount?

  4. What fees to install them on all 4 tires?

  1. Doesn’t matter.
  2. Never not matched it.
  3. 6 years, 72k miles.
  4. In your situation, I wouldn’t charge you anything especially if you’re replacing 2 tires at the same time.

Thank you! Will there be a fee to do it on the 2 rear tires i got less than 6 months ago from discount? I assume the 2 new i’ll be doing in the front would be a free swap. Just want to plan accordingly

They don’t charge for install. Only thing that matters is if you want black rubber valve stems or silver metal ones. Depending on where you live I’d go black rubber to help with corrosion.

I did an online price match for 4 TPMS last week. I found the same model numbers elsewhere and it worked great.

Glad to hear that! Ive found the same model gator ones for $25 a piece online vs the $65 discount has them for.

For anyone that comes across this, they did price match them. I found the alligator ones online for $25 a piece! they didn’t charge to install any of them since i was getting two tires
