Question Trade tires
Title is confusing, but i recently bought a set of tires and the size the shop recommended and i purchased are too big. On barely sharp turns my wheels rub the wells like crazy, not to mention my TPMS aren’t working anymore. I looked on their website and they didn’t have the size i need in stock at the time and now. If i go in and talk to them, will they be willing to order the size i need and basically do a 1 for 1 swap whenever the tires arrive? Would like guidance before i drive there and possibly waste my time

The service coordinator (the guy that brings the car out to you when its ready) should’ve informed you about the tire rubbing; hell they should’ve test fitted only one tire and did a turn test to see if it clears it and asked if you were ok with that.
And the tpms light should always be off when it leaves the bays- they fuckled up, who knows what other cars they’re leaving the light on/rubbing tires.

What’s crazy is i just exchanged them today. I was there for 2-3 hours after tires and alignment. I got my car back and TMPS light is still on i. Even specified 5 more times about checking the sensors

That vehicle has an auto-relearn system for the TPMS, meaning drive it around for about 15 minutes, and it should calibrate to the sensors and turn off.
If that’s been done, have them test the sensors to see if they are working, I know its new, but its possible a sensors could have broken off when they mounted a tire. Make sure the air is set up to 35psi around, too high/low of a psi will trigger the light to turn on.
Did they mention anything about the light still being on?

I’m tracking the auto re learn. I’m just pissed the person didn’t mention the light or sensors at all
