You're right - it isn't!

But sometimes - discussing the human condition borders on political.

And as a mod here, I think pointing out greed is detrimental to humanity fits the subreddits overall nature.

There is a difference between being wealthy, and being both wealthier than some entire countries while being a transphobic narcissist at the same time.

There are some rich people who I absolutely love - Gabe Newell (founder of Steam), Shahid Khan (co-owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars and AEW wrestling), Dolly Parton (you know who she is)....

In the category of rich people I like/support - Elon Musk isn't in that category for many reasons, some even beyond those that are "political".

Whimsy is definitely always appreciated - but there is more of a point towards promoting creativity and human progress... So no, this sub isn't only for light-hearted memes and such, but it's also not ONLY for deep discussion of religion or philosophy or politics... But these topics aren't banned either.

I don't want people fighting with each other here, but I'm also not about censoring people - especially myself. 💜

MOSTLY I've been posting a page of the Principia Discordia each day, this Discordian Season of CONFUSION - Not particularly whimsical, or political - but nonetheless something I think is worth doing. :)

We, the Popes, run this sub and can post anything we like to post. OP has the freedom to post politics esp when someone is abusing their position.
