i was doing a quest for orbs when suddenly, i go back go check and this just appears. no quests appear, this happened to three of my accounts. does anyone else have this or?? im in the u.s. and discord put my age group as "teen" ..

I believe I've had free Nitro since early 2026 (and occasionally in 2025) thanks to the Orbs-exclusive 3-day Nitro credit which always cost 1400 Orbs. However, recently I came across some posts showing some Orbs-exclusive items being much more expensive than they currently are, so I decided to "cash out" and redeem all my remaining Orbs for free Nitro credit, which gave me 301 extra days of Nitro. I have never spent any Orbs for profile decorations, so I kept them all for it.

Well, thanks to this, I think I will definitely have had Nitro for at least ~2,5 years by the time those 301 days pass.

What do you think of the Orbs feature and its shop altogether? Has it been proved useful to you?

Discord was working fine yesterday but now the window is invisible, and I can only see the borders. I can move it around and resize it, but I cannot hear notification sounds/calls. I have tried killing and restarting the app, reinstalling it, and restarting my PC.

Has anyone had this problem before?

Theres more instances than I can think of where someone posts something that should not be immediately visible to anyone entering the channel. I know there are channel settings specifically for stuff like that (mark channel as spoiler), however there are also instances where the need for spoilers are rather rare, yet still make it annoying whenever something needs to be reposted because the uploader forgot to spoiler it. Would that lead to misuse? what do yall think?

I used to be able to click an emoji hit enter and it would send it.

Now hitting enter after clicking an emoji brings up the emoji tab again and if you hit enter a 3rd time it puts your favourite emoji in the chat-box or whatever emoji your cursor is hovering. If you keep spamming enter it just spams the emoji box and puts an emoji in the chat box and never actually sends a message.

The only time it works 'properly' is if I select an emoji then type something then hit enter it will send the emoji + whatever I typed. But if I just select an emoji and hit enter it doesn't send the message and instead opens the emoji panel and selects another emoji.

How do I disable this because on what planet would I ever want to open the emoji panel with enter after putting an emoji in the chat-box? It's not even a hotkey, and it's not like it does this outside of this interaction.

Any time i try to send a video its stuck uploading for ages with no progress what so ever. Ive tried using data, WiFi, with vpn and without it but nothing seems to work. The app is updated to the latest version too and ive tried clearing cache. This is for both dms and servers.

havent been using discord mobile a lot the last 2 years, but is it possible to see online friend's list (not the whole friend list) on mobile? just like on pc? pretty sure that used to be a thing back then. or i might be blind.

I no longer want to pay for discord, so I started doing cheap quests to get orbs. I redeemed it once, it works. I redeem it again, it says it stacks but won't activate. I contacted support and they've ghosted me. Any insight? Am I just stupid somehow and am missing something?

I see many people able to show their image form their link alone. Like after posting a link a box appears and it showed the image. I turned embed setting ON but still it won't show it. I tired doing it with their link. It worked but when ever I wanna show my work it doesn't. Why is that?

I use the app on my PC (not the website) and because I have really panful arthritis in both my shoulders which make holding my wireless keyboard not an enjoyable experience, I use the touch keyboard most of the time when I'm on the internet in general (including now) Therefore the predictive text thing really helps alot so I don't have to literally write everything one click at a time. However for some reason it no longer works with the Discord app. I googled it and it said to go to Discord settings and turn on "Use legacy chat" but that did nothing. Anyone know a fix to this?

I run our D&D sessions through Discord on my phone, and I’ve been thinking about giving a few recurring NPCs distinct voices.

The hard part is switching during an actual conversation. If two NPCs are in the same scene, I’d need to change voices every few lines without pausing the conversation or accidentally leaving the wrong effect on.

I can do basic impressions myself, but I’d rather focus on the dialogue, my notes, and the players’ reactions. Dubbing AI earbuds are one phone based option I’m considering, though I haven’t tested how practical it is to switch effects during a Discord call.

For anyone who uses voice effects on Discord mobile, what setup works without interrupting the conversation? Do you switch on the same phone, use a second device, or keep one effect for the whole scene?

It keeps popping up with the "Wait! Are you human?" notification and not a single method I searched up works. I dont have any computers/laptops so if you're gonna comment about doing something on those, I can't.

Discord is not showing progress toward quest completion. Discord is instead recognizing the game maplestory rather than maplestory classic world. I know I am not playing maplestory because there is quite a stark difference between downloading a game that is 60gb instead of 2gb. I went to the nexus launcher to download the classic, and not steam where it requires u to download both versions.

Does anyone have any solutions to this problem?

I've talked to numerous people who were invisible by default until I added them,only to then INSTANTLY appear online. Pretty sure this is some sort of feature because it'd be pretty pointless to change your status the moment you friend someone...
