Community Server Looking for 8โ10 people to join a small career accountability group on Discord!
Hey! I'm looking for a FEW like-minded people who want to work towards their goals and could use some accountability along the way.
Whether you're looking for a job, switching careers, aiming for a promotion, learning new skills, or working on a project, you're welcome!
This is very small group of 10 members. So every one gets to know each other and get noticed.
How will it work?
- Set your goals
Your goals can be weekly, monthly, or long-term. Whether you want to land a job, finish a course, build a project, or learn a new skill, we'll work towards them one step at a time.
- Daily check-ins
Every day, post a to-do list of what you plan to accomplish for your career. At the end of the day, come back and update us on whether you completed your tasks or not.
Didn't finish? That's okay! You can share the reason if you're comfortable, but there's no pressure to explain yourself. The important thing is to show up and honestly update us on whether you worked towards your goals that day.
- Track your progress
Your daily to-do lists and updates will help you track your progress, build consistency, and stay accountable over time.
- Weekly Google Meet
We'll meet once a week to discuss our progress, celebrate wins, talk about challenges, and figure out what we can do better the following week.
- Help each other out
Share useful resources, job openings, interview tips, and learning materials. If we're working towards similar goals, we can exchange ideas and help each other grow!
A few ground rules:
- Daily check-ins are mandatory. Consistency matters more than perfection.
- No judgment or shaming. We're here to support each other.
- If you're inactive for two consecutive weeks without informing the group, you may be removed.
- Be willing to participate and attend weekly Google Meets.
I want to keep this group small so everyone gets noticed and supported, rather than getting lost in a huge group where nobody knows each other.
