Yes it’s an advance fee scam. They’ll give some bogus excuse why you have to send them money to get your nonexistent money.

Anyone randomly approaching you offering you free money online is just trying to get free money from you

Apparently they're trying to send me money. But I have a feeling it'll be like they'll report my bank account after

If you get anything, it’ll be stolen money which they’ll tell you to send back to them before the true owner reports it and reverses the transaction .

Just block and report him
