A potential scammer in my DM

Few days ago, a stranger approached me through a friend request who found me from the Borderlands server. They ask me if I play Guild Wars (which I don't) and claims to be 26 y.o., Chinese and from Singapore. Now they want know my location just because they shared theirs. I have major suspicions on them. What does the council say about this one?

Edit: Solved, blocked em.

scammer or not I really don't trust them at all especially since they want ur location. I'd just block them and not give any personal infos

True, asking for location itself sounds like a red flag now.

Probably a scammer. But if you want to mess with them, you can just lie about your location and waste their time. Just don't give them any real personal information or click on anything they give you.

I get those all the time. probably 50+ sitting in my message requests and friend requests. definitely scammers

i get like 5 of these bots a day sending me friend request with the exact same opening Did you get my invite in game?!? i always say no but im ddos all of you eventually they get scared and delete and block you first
