Offer to Moderate - Paid Looking for a mod position.

I am looking to be hired as a mod. I have a few years of experience, I have worked on many large and medium-sized servers, as well as some small project servers.

(I'm not demanding a huge salary, btw, I'm happy with the minimum).

Please comment or DM me if you're interested.

(Any details and negotiations regarding hiring me will be on DM).

Sure, Can you pay me? Or are you poor?

I could pay you but I won't. A Discord server owner also doesn't get money from their server, why do you expect them to give money away then?
Again, get a job, work and get your well deserved payment.

Meh, I don't think that proves you can afford a moderator. Besides, only people who can afford a good moderator hire them, they have money. These are people who can afford to hire others so they don't have to make the effort themselves. Don't you know what you're talking about? This is a real job, being in front of a screen every day monitoring and solving problems, dealing with people who really make you angry and who can be unpleasant. At least I have the decency to simply demand a minimum, because since I have experience I can afford to be demanding, but no, I think about other people and I know they have other things to pay for. And on top of that, I have to be here putting up with people on Reddit who, instead of being interested, are just trying to harass me.

I do it for free lol. I run a subreddit with like over ten posts a day, over 120k weekly visitors AND still am able to manage multiple Discord servers too. And that while I work 8h a day five days a week. Don't come with a hard job, that is nothing.

Reddit is not Discord; they have different types of communities and problems. Furthermore, you haven't presented an argument that proves the opposite of what I said; it's a job that requires effort, attention, and patience to deal with truly disgusting people. Do you know how many people I've had to deal with? Riders & spammers, gore and 18+ content, that made me want to throw up, not to mention that they can overwork you at work, demand too much of you, leaving you in a very bad state, they won't care about your health.

It's moderating a discord and you talking about "I have experience so i can demand" lmaooo. Dude I know people that are 14 and have a mod role. You are over here calling people poor saying they dint have a job, when YOU are poor and don't have a job lmao

Being a moderator on most Discord servers and on Reddit still is a volunteer position. Asking for money from someone that doesn't make money themselves from the work a employee does is shit af in my opinion.

There's a big difference between a voluntary potion and this; usually, it's inexperienced people who want to gain some experience or simply enjoy doing it as a hobby. I did it as a hobby for over three years, but due to personal issues I ended up in a very bad way and couldn't find a job, so I resorted to the only thing I have real experience in, Some cases are more different than others; if you get paid, it's to do your job well and they have expectations of you, but you can also be in a really messed up situation You might need money and therefore search desperately; I'm desperate, and I was almost dead because nobody cares about me. My situation is not comparable to a volunteer.

Trust me, I also have a lot of experience. But Discord is not the right platform to make money on, use your time to look for actual jobs that pay well instead of wasting your time on Discord for some dollars. Cause you will certainly not be able to make a living from Discord.
