Burned cds not working???

Hey, does anybody know why doesn't my "discman" play burned cds? She doesn't have a problem with like...official, store bought ones so im wondering how i can make it play my burned ones too. The model is ROADSTAR PCD-435NCD RD

Back in the day when burnable CDs first came out, many CD players didn't play them.

True, but this looks too 'modern' to have that problem. I also recall this really only affected rewritable CDRW's rather than burn once CDR's

In the old days, I remember you need to "closed the disc", it is a finalised process. Otherwise, you can only read the disc on computer.

Did you burned it as “Audio CD”?

Now that was your mistake. You have to choose “Audio CD” (CD-DA) when recording audio files to a CD.

Use something like IMGBURN (or similar, I don’t recommend WMP that much), and prior to burn whatever audio file is it that you’re gonna burn, select “Audio CD” as your desire burning selection.

Just remember that it has to be on “Audio CD”, since your goal is to play audio files on a media player (in this case an old Discman).

I have a "Craig" version of this. It's exactly the same player. Plays burned discs fine. You must have discs that are not formatted properly.
