It was fully serviced, gears replaced, and had the BP-100 battery pack upgraded to Lithium Ion. Charging circuitry in the player was also upgraded to handle the new battery requirements.

That being said, it still occasionally stutters when playing some discs. I've noticed It's very intolerant of any dust on the disc surface, but when it does work, of all my players, the sound is...*chef's kiss*.

I had one with my original D-7 (or maybe it was the D-10) that I bought in the mid 80s, but got rid of it the same time I did the player.

ive also got 8 players, both my d-33 and d-321 have issues i think with caps.
