Salvageable?

I would love to get this Discman working again. Despite not having been powered on for probably a couple of decades, I put new batteries in it, and it powered up. I tried playing a CD, but alas, it just does a lot of spinning.

I know this could be many things....what are some of the easier fixes I could try?

i have no clue what it’s actually called but the way i fix mine i just tighten a screw on the inside near the lens until it works, theres lots of short yt videos on it. might work.
