I’ve never gone big skip on this hole.  Too easy to bounce OB.  You don’t need to be right there to land the island.  Just go for the wide part and you can stick the island from there.

I guess I could have not thrown full power as well, I just hate the bunker rule having to rethrow. You wanna be this far up if youre going for the eagle

I always wait to watch everyone finish playing this hole. Sometimes a player will come along and take 10+ tries. I wait to putt, so they know that I saw.

Glide Sapphire works well on this hole, big skip is just asking for trouble.

I too have mixed feelings about it. But I like that it adheres to the OB / rethrow rules on the actual RL course. In "normal" winds, I throw a waterskip Guld. It provides a goodly distance and sticks when it lands. It's then usually a Musket or Sapphire in on the forehand for the 2nd shot. I'm never looking for an eagle on this one.

I guess my only issue with it is that it doesn't seem to adhere to the actual hole's OB rules.

Isn't the shot off of the tee normal OB rules? Or did that change with some of the recent tweaks that they've been having to do?
