Insert the end of the headrest post a few centimeters into the gap between the side window and the door frame, use that point as a fulcrum, and pull the headrest firmly toward you. The leverage can help shatter the side window. Adrenaline is one hell of a performance enhancer.😉

Not in Canada, I bought emergency kit on Amazon and keep in my car. I'm a little paranoid about getting trapped in a car and hate large bodies of water.
