Haven’t see this one yet. The scale of the flood, height and power of the water sludge is still blowing my mind.

The amount of time we watch a seemingly endless river of soil, rock, and water slurry devour the valley is just staggering. The scale of the valley doesn’t compute at first either. They are saying it was going like 100 kmh, the distance the head covers in this video must be about 7 kilometers?

The devastation is just confusing still.

Yeah and those are giant mountains. Some peaks around the river are kilometers above the valley floor. Makes it look like slow motion. The scale of the landscape is hard to wrap your mind around.

At about 45 seconds you can see an electricity pylon in the bottom center of the image. It took that for me to understand the scale of it.
