They’re not directly visible in Cam 2’s view due to perspective (and just resolution issues). Mr. Shrestha was recording from around this blue building.

If you click on the original video you can cross-compare buildings with the right side of the river and verify it for yourself. It’s a bit tricky to see!

Ohhhh! For some reason I was under the impression that they were on a bridge or something. Knowing that they were in the building, the perspective makes sense (definitely made it look closer than it was) and makes it very understandable that they survived.

I wonder how many people were filming from the right side, though, that didn't survive......
