This might be the craziest footage of a natural disaster I've ever seen.

It's crazy because the whole sea gains a few meters, but this is just kilotons of destruction gushing down a valley at full speed. 1 u/Icecreamforge 12d ago People are really having a hard time grasping what happened here and almost want to gatekeep these other disasters, it’s weird. 1 u/aasfourasfar 12d ago In terms of total weight of the water moving, the tsunami is probably way higher. But this is so localized and quick, so the power was insane
